these guys who start threads like this don't have discipline, money management skills, and drop too much money on one game. OP will reload his account and play the early game between knicks/pistons and then complain after he loses.

From years of gambling sports, I'd learned that your first guess on who's gonna win/cover is usually not the winning one.  When it looks too obvious, go to the other side.  Last night, I went for 3 quick picks:

1.  BROOKLYN's gonna kill ATLANTA with no Josh Smith.  I knew it was a trap and picked ATL instead.  Won that.
2.  NO's been red hot as of late and I thought they can beat anyone in this league.  Too obvious, so I picked Boston (Since Boston was at home, I thought it would a safe bet too).  NOPE.
3. Heat's gonna kill GSW with no Stephen Curry.  Sound just like the Nets/ATL trap so I picked GSW to win.  Lost that.

I had leans on others and most of them fell too

Chicago didn't cover.
Indy lost out right.
Red hot Portland lost to Cavs?  WTF?

You are right, these players with high contracts are protecting their bodies and themselves.  I think most of the players knew ahead of time who's gonna be crown champion beforehand.

Example:  If I was playing for Portland and I see other teams like OKC, Spurs, LAC, Lakers in the conference, why would I even bother to risk my health to compete when I knew no matter what, I won't beat these teams?  I can't win a championship with the team I'm with.

Yes, you should always play with competitive nature and spirit but for what?  I have a big contract, I'm guaranteed no matter how good or bad I play.  Why bother?

Of course the NBA is tough to beat if you always side with the public, if you can't read an opening line and don't care about line movements.

Stop being a square and picking the obvious.

No josh smith atl was good. Pacers just blew out bobcats and magic got blown out and the line was only -1.5 for pacers? Magic was the play. Look for the picks that look too easy, and just go opposite..but look into it some more, actually do some reading.

And I see one of these threads every week in each forum it seems. NFL is a joke, NBA is a joke, cbb is the hardest sport to bet.... Slow down, and you might actually make a profit. Quit betting 15 games a day like some of these monopoly bettors. They could be playing $5 bets while you are chasing with 100s to 1000s. And study a game before you bet it.

Funny how you didnt know that the miami game was at 205 with 95% of the plays on the over.  The line drops all the way down to 201 with the owrld on the over and you play it with all the other dumb fools out there.  Dont girl and moan without doing some work first.  Same thing in the MSU and Penn State game....Same as the Clevaland Cavs game and Magic game...do your work.

I do research before every bet and it's just part of the grind of gambling. You must put in the time and money to get good it.

I used to play online poker for a semi-living and it's very similar.

Football will be over in a month so...time to study and pick NBA games but I do agree that ATL bulls game with ATL scoring 5 pts with garbage players like josh smith is an example of why we bet on garbage players sometimes
