I have a little local lean here, but I like what Pelini is doing at FAU. His team is stocked with young local talent, and although they were over powered by Miami last week, they showed flashes of the speed South Florida high school football programs are known to produce. What I saw from FAU last week makes me believe they are not the same Owl teams we have gotten accustomed too since Schnelly left, but closer to a team that is growing toward better things.
Again, local lean here but 3 TDs seems a bit steep, and with the focus on the NFL opener, I think there is a good value play here on the Owls. The sensible hedge would be an Over play, thinking FAU should move the ball and score 3-4 times, so if they put up 21-28 points, to lose your side ECU would have to get into the 40's (which is possible of course). I think there is a better chance of winning both then losing both.

I must admit that I do not know much about FAU. I will take your opinion about the coach for FAU. I did hear that Vs Miami his QB spike the ball on 4 down at the end of the game. There no way the QB did that without the coach telling him too. If this is true I DO NOT LIKE THAT AT ALL !!!!! That's something that make me a little nervous if the OVER is a touchdown away and FAU has the ball at the end of the 4 quarter.

If for some reason this is not true than disregard my statement.

The spike on 4th down came directly from coach Pelini. I was watching the game. But he just go lost on the down. He just wanted to get in the endzone before the game was over.
Not that big of a deal. In my eyes.
My take on the game is NO PLAY or at least wait till halftime. I have a lean for the UNDER but that is all. FAUs offense has a new QB so dont expect them to light it up. Perfect scenario for me would be 35 points at half and take the UNDER in the 2nd Half!!!!
