My numbers make this game UCLA 51 vs Baylor 42 which seems reasonable.  UCLA can actually pressure the QB and Baylor cannot which makes the UCLA the likely winner if they can only get 3-4 stops during the game.  Also, consensus numbers are virtually 50/50 and would not indicate a public side yet but I would not be surprised to see either side get the public money before game time.  My scoring numbers and UCLA sack % makes UCLA a 1 unit play unless something changes before game time such as a rush of steam money on Baylor right before kick off.

Might as well make it a complete dog day afternoon and evening

Baylor - 44                                      UCLA - 41

Bears +1                                       over 80.5

Bears last 3 games Oklahoma St, Texas Tech & Kansas St all wins. Pretty convincing to me. Let's add UCLA to that list.

Baylor - Over

UCLA by a considerable margin... best play of the bowl season... line has already shot up from a pick 'em to UCLA (-3) -120, so you've missed the boat if you didn't get it already...

UCLA is clearly gonna have the home atmosphere with this game in San Diego, i think this will help the defense against that potents bears attack.  Jonathan Franklin is gonna run all over the baylor defense that gives 190 yards per game on the ground giving jim mora an edge at controlling the clock and keeping that baylor offense on the sidelines.

Just wish i wouldve bet it earlier UCLA -2.5

Tough to see Baylor winning on grass, much less scoring enough points to put this game over!

To follow up on the UCLA Baylor game - The line has moved all the way to UCLA -3 which affects my original analysis of UCLA Pick em for 1 unit.  I think the best play now is to pass the game because there at least 10 or 11 really good plays coming up over the next week so there is no reason to play a favorite on a game that is less than optimal at the current line.   This is clearly a steam play on UCLA and would have been a solid play at Pick 'em but I am not as confident laying 3 or more points against a wide open offense like Baylor.  If you HAVE to play the game, UCLA is probably the better pick but no more than -3.  Personally, I am passing and waiting for tomorrow's games.

the difference is the Ok St game was at 12 noon est. and had gusty winds.  This is the Holiday bowl with good weather and will most likely be the most points ever scored in this bowl.

This favorite covers in the late game tonight!  Points being scored all over the place with the Bruins pulling it off late with something like a 42-35 outcome.

UCLA -3

GL to all!!!

UCLA and under for me.. I see UCLA running the ball a lot and killing the clock.. Baylor has no D whatsoever and if UCLA can wear them down by pounding the ball, they'll easily win this one..
