Do the pre paid visa cards work for U.S. players? Also, my debit card  was stolen so I was wondering if you can buy the pre paid card with a credit card? It is my first time using an online sports book.

Some do, some don't. Depends on the book. Make sure it can be used internationally. If you're buying a reloadable Visa, you'll have to add cash to it. If you're buying a Visa gift card, you can use your credit card to buy it.

I've used Greendot a few times, but it's a reloadable card. As far as Visa gift cards go, not sure which one's work anymore. Your best bet is to use Western Union or Moneygram. You can use your credit card with both of them.

All books take Western Union and Moneygram. Both have websites. When you sign up at a book, they'll give you all the info you need.

As far as books go, my suggestion would be 5Dimes, Bookmaker, or BetIslands. Both 5Dimes and Bookmaker have high limits. BetIslands limits are relatively small.

One last stupid questions how do you send a western union money order, is there a number/ accountant you just send to the book?

After you open up an account at a book, they'll give you all the info you need. You'll get a confirmation number after you pay that you'll then give to the book. Money is usually in your account within half an hour.

Yes best of luck gambling Jesus. May want to tone it down on the overturning tables and things, most Sportsbooks frown on that sort of stuff.

I must sound like an idiot but where do you buy the pre paid international cards? I really wish my bookie didn't just abruptly, things were easier then.

I have a bank re-loadable international card and it works great. But some of the ones like Vanilla Visa and others that you buy at Walgreens and such have gotten declined when I tried to use em

Search the bank website and see if any locations are near you that supply these cards. You can only reload them at bank retailers but they work because I have used them myself

i would say the easiest reloadable/prepaid cards to use are the ones issued from metabank.  Some of the other prepaid cards that get declined are probably due to the fact that they can't be used for international purchases.  Many of the online processors for sportsbooks like 5dimes are international so an additional 3.5% get taken out on top of the purchase.  I would also say that you want to get a prepaid card that has a VISA logo on it, so for example bank VISA is another type of card issued by metabank.  On top of the international fees that you can get charged, there is also the $1 fee for each transaction, $2-$5 charge for putting money on the card, as well as the $10 fee to buy the card in the first place, yes the small little charges here and there can add up but there's never any problems in the card getting declined.  You may have heard that someone ended up having minuses in their book's account due to the bank taking the money back from the book, etc well you won't have a problem with that from metabank.  Any credit department in a sportsbook will probably recognize metabank as not ever giving them any problems as opposed to say a bank of american or something big like them.

Cool, did not recognize him, don't follow basketball, only bet hockey, with a heavy poker addiction on the side. Best of luck in the on-line wagering world. May want to invest in back-up screen for your laptop, could come in handy.
