They comment, not analyze or handicap. Often they are the worst source of information regarding a sports matchup. I think it was the late Bob McCune (long time handicapper and one of the first to produce any good handicapping material. He once wrote, listening to sports commentators or broadcasters as they breakdown a sports matchup appears to be one of the daggers to the avid handicapper. Usually they are only privy to info they are given my a network, and thus can lead a handicapper that's on the fence for a game over to the wrong side. He wrote that before others were on the bandwagon! Most top athletes are not cowards, especially anyone who steps in to the ring. Mayweather has been considered the #1 lbs4lbs fighter (or somewhere in 99% peoples top ten) for many years almost nearing a decade. I don't think a coward would be that able to accomplish that! If you are not considering Mayweather not fighting Manny a reason to call him a coward, what is your basis on the man's basis for being a coward?
