I think so, just based off Neimann's numbers vs. Minny. The only thing that scares me is Neimann is not off to a good start this year. However, this staff is locked in and eventually he will be pitching to his potential. GL

#29 Posted: 4/28/2011 2:31:36 PM Why is Blackburn still in there? Does the manager actually think he just throw away this game already in the 4th inning? WTF? |

GL Niemann has a 1.67 WHIP currently but his WHIP last year was 1.26. He beat the Twins twice last year.

Yes actually. They taxed the bullpen yesterday and they got another game tonight. So he wants to extend Blackburn as much as possible.

#37 Posted: 4/28/2011 2:44:35 PM I would take the over in the night game as Niemann has severe control issues with his height. Guy can't seem to put it all together with that tall frame of his as he has lost his last two games. And the Twins pitcher is some a recall reject that last played in 2009.

#39 Posted: 4/28/2011 2:47:46 PM Over could be the solid play. Yes, Neimann is struggling and Minny has gotta be wanting to at least try to win one of these games. On the flip side, TB has been raking lately. I don't see that stopping tonight.

#40 Posted: 4/28/2011 3:00:55 PM Didn't Swarazk pitched last year for Twins as well?
I remembered he shut down a team when he was called up from the Minors. |

I remembered he shut down a team when he was called up from the Minors. In 2009 he got drilled by 4 teams by double digits http://espn.go.com/mlb/player/gamelog/_/id/30153/anthony-swarzak

#43 Posted: 4/28/2011 3:07:42 PM RAYS and OVER in 2nd game.
Twins bullpen will be missing Hoey in game 2. Rays should roll again in a high scoring affair.
