#1304 Posted: 1/1/2013 11:50:55 AM purdue limped to a 6-6 record but they are full of experience, returned 19 starters this year and ended the season w/ 3 straight wins and nearly pulled outright upsets in narrow losses at Notre Dame (17-14) and at Ohio St. (29-22 in overtime). i would expect an experienced team to have enough to put in a few wrinkles, even though they come in to this with a lame duck coaching staff. they have to be MARVeling and what robert marv has done on only one good ACL, pretty impressive i must say. Purdue is erratic, salty, makes big plays, gives up big plays. Heading into the final minute of the Bedlam battle on November 24 in
Norman, Oklahoma State led Oklahoma, 45-38. The Cowboys had shot out to a
14-0 lead and led by as many as 11 late in the third quarter. But the
Sooners tied the game with four seconds left, then won in overtime.
Instead of moving to 8-3 and looking at a potentially lofty bowl bid,
the 'Pokes finished the season by also losing to Baylor and tumbling to
the Heart of Dallas Bowl against a 6-6 team with an interim coach. On
paper, OSU is by far the better team, but this late fall could make for a
serious motivation gap, especially considering OSU is facing a Purdue
team with quite a few impact seniors. If purdue can protect marve, I think somehow, some way, they keep it within the number. OSU has had a bit of turnover at the qb spot and that could make for just enough of a margin for pudue defense to get off the field. I think both will score and I think purdue will somehow stay within the number.
Purdue +18 -120
Over 68

#1308 Posted: 1/1/2013 11:52:05 AM I hope Charlotte is right with NW because I risked everything I have to start the new year. It's either go big or don't bet at all.

#1323 Posted: 1/1/2013 12:01:50 PM There are way too many people posting besides Charlotte. I think Charlotte should make a separate forum for people to tell him thanks for his picks and all the other bs they are talking about. Just be patient for his picks and then follow or fade. There shouldn't be 15 pages between picks.
