my boss/friend tells me stories of hamburg, he was in the navy in early 70's, on an a aircraft carrier( the nimitz?) im probaby spelling that incorrectly

he was probably on a converted WWII "27 Charlie" CVS anti-sub warfare carrier like the Essex,  Yorktown or Wasp back then. the Nimitz class hadn't even been built then AND would have been TOO large to get up the Elbe to the Port of Hamburg.

no he went there on leave, his boat used to port in italy,

maybe it was closer to mid 70's, he told me he joined the navy so he wouldnt get drafted by the army, his draft number was getting close, vietnam ended like 6 months after he joined te navy

potvin I see where you lost friggin the over 5 +120 that would have been a nice parlay, I had a 6 teamer going yesterday lost on 1 game that's like 3 or 4 this week where I lost on my last game if your asking youself why did I not go the other way because 1 or 2 game's did not finish yet, but still you had a good  day even if you brake even that's a good day in the world of gambling but you already know that gl  today   potvin

I have 8 consecutive wins and then suffer 5 straight lossesYou were def on the right track tho with the rags and queens.  Thank God i didn't watch any of it as i was gone all day fundraisingHopefully today is a good one for both of us brutha
