My friend's cousin won 60,000 grand or so Labor Day weekend before the season and put a large portion on a Prop for the Patriots to go undefeated.  The prop would have paid 1.1 Mil and the Casino calls him after the AFC/NFC Championship game and offers him 650,000 to take the wager off the books.  I think the Pats started at -17 and dropped to -14.  They were going to fly him and 10 friends out Comped.  He said no and The Giants win the Super Bowl.

Not buying it.  Prop bets almost always have very low max bets for that reason.

total bullshit story,   but if it was real he would have been a fool to take that deal..         better off finding people to loan him money, remorgage house, etc.  and take 500 or so on giants plus the points and try to middle or put about 100k on giants ml to make about 800 k or so that way..   a dummy would have taken that deal.

garbage i would have taken that all day long. makes 10 times what he put out and he would have gotten comped. If your friend is telling the truth he was dumb not to have done that
