The Sharks are done; couldn't even beat an Anaheim team last night that's given up. Now they go into Staples where the Kings are tearing it up since the Jeff Carter trade. Only money tonight that is on San Jose is people who still think there's no way the Sharks miss the playoffs (lol)

You are completely correct when you say only Sharks backers are the ones that are thinking "Come onnnn...it's been rough for them but they can't miss the playoffs CAN they?" Ever since that Carter trade we have actually been able to score goals for once, and our defense hasn't missed a beat without Jack Johnson. I FINALLY feel the energy from this team and I think they can smell the playoffs and what is essentially a second chance they've been given with the entire division being mediocre. The young guns have been stepping up in key roles, and with Quick IMO being the best player on the ice tonight (at this point in time at least,) I feel like the Kings take this one and set themselves up nicely for the playoffs.

They're incapable of making a run when it matters. We've seen it year after year in the playoffs and we're seeing it again now. They have no 2nd gear.
