#77 Posted: 10/6/2012 2:44:14 PM This is a great bet in my eyes. I have been makng good money off future bets for years. Last year was the first year I didn't hit since 2006 when the Colts beat the bears.
I have the Texans at 10 to 1 and the 49ers at 9 to 1......Gonna add another later in the year. Whoever is hot at the end....Good luck! |

#79 Posted: 10/8/2012 12:14:56 AM The Jets are either going to cover the spread against Houston and or beat them - the Jets will cover the spread for sure I guarantee that - Houston still might win by a field goal though - my Sunday monday night Formula says the Jets are highly likely to cover Jets +8 or jets +9 - Im getting hot again now that we are getting deeper into the season - this week I am 18-7 in spreads and totals - I took Houston earlier in the week but with the Saints covering more then likely the Texans will not - but they still could win.

#82 Posted: 10/9/2012 11:17:54 AM They may-I will stick with the Texans. This was a bad spot for the Texans, playing a team that just got blown out and losing the MLB mid game. This game was over til the McKnight TD but props to the Jets for hanging tough. Texans at least did not lose to the Cardinals at home?
Long season, a ton of football left. GL- After a blistering start I cannot pick my nose much less a winner. Taking a week or two off to regroup.

#85 Posted: 10/10/2012 9:23:54 AM That is an understatement-They played OK without him last year I believe but he is a big loss. Much more than Mario Williams was, that guy is overrated and now is stinking up the Bills |

Don't worry too much about Cushing. Does it suck losing him, sure. But, living here in Houston, I can tell you that the consensus is that Wade Phillips will figure out how to disguise some schemes to mask the weakness they now have at middle linebacker. Even without Cushing, they are a top 5 defense with the likes of JJ Watt, Antonio Smith, Brooks Reed, Jonathan Joseph and Daniel Manning. I suspect they will slip a bit on defense, but not as much as you might think. |

#88 Posted: 10/10/2012 11:48:29 AM Houston is the best team right now, without question.
My power ratings have Houston on pace with the best teams of all-time, of coarse not losing helps that, after 1 lose they may drop a bit.
Houston has the best balance in the league hands down........................ |

#89 Posted: 10/10/2012 12:21:21 PM I am very much looking forward to seeing the Texans at NE week 14. Then week 15 the Niners go to NE. NE will dominate if Ridley can hold on to the ball, and NE secondary can get turnovers, I think they can. I predict the emerging McDaniels no huddle formula will set the bar for the NFL. They're on to something.

#91 Posted: 10/11/2012 4:46:21 PM They sure made my Broncos look bad. Brady is playing at a very high level, yet again. I really thought they would struggle behind a make shift o line. Vegas is still not convinced though as the spread this week seems low to me |

They may be a very good squad, maybe.
Time will tell. I do like them to win the Super Bowl.
You did not mention the mighty Chicago Bears. Nobody do like they do.

#94 Posted: 10/11/2012 10:59:51 PM Chicago isn't winning garbage and neither is Houston. Once you get past the Houston front 4, with Cushing out, the rest is soft.
Houston will NEVER win a Super Bowl. |

You're matching 31 other teams to win versus 1 team to win? Real ballsy. How'd you guys fare against West Virginia again? Thanks for the cash UT. And you're about to get stomped by Oklahoma this week too, enjoy it. |

The thread title is Houston to win the Super Bowl
Second, you can insult the Texas longhorns, I don't care. This is about money. The fact that you go to try and attack me on a non related subject shows that you're an idiot. |
