#28 Posted: 3/27/2012 12:07:03 AM For what this is worth, living in Kansas City we are inundated with Jayhawk news. Midwest regional interviews from StL, coverage from Allen field house on their return trip home etc etc. These kids act like they've accomplished more than they ever imagined. Not once did I ever hear a player drop the "everybody's disrespectin' us" card. I think StL was their Superbowl. I know the fans don't play the game but they held a parade down Massachusett St. in Lawrence for the team as if it was over. This mindset is prevalent on campus and the players know it. Wouldn't doubt Self's ability to motivate but I think this little joyride ends here. Jayhawks have shot the ball like garbage since the Big12 tourney and have been living on borrowed time. Add in OSU looking for a little payback after losing at Allen, without Sullinger, earlier this year. My moneys on the Buckeyes. |

#32 Posted: 3/27/2012 12:54:41 AM Kansas offense has been a bit suspect........but their defense has been exceptional throughout this tournament.......Withey could pose some problems for Sullinger. Interesting match-up. |

Your screen name already indicates you wouldn't be on Kansas |

#34 Posted: 3/27/2012 12:01:09 PM I wonder about the post match up. I do have to admit, on the block, sullinger will need some calls. He is not that big and he looks for the contact. The larger posts of KU could give him trouble, DEPENDING ON HOW THE GAME IS CALLED.

Funny, I thought the same thing after Mizzou blew their load in the Big 12 tournament. Haith was on the court crying afterwards. They don't give parades for final fours at KU. You should focus on your coach winning a tournament game first |

As I said, take it for what it's worth. Have lots of friends from KU and have watched many games at the Phog so I'll claim no bias . Just too much media in KC and everytime I see it, these kids talk and body language is that of celebration instead of focus on what's next. I typically stay away from KU games but I'll be on the OSU side of this one. Good luck with whatever you choose. |

Totally agree with you about Mizzou blowing their load in the Big12 tourney and that's exactly my point with KU. As far as parade's in Lawrence, I guess the local stations here must have staged their coverage on Mass. St. Whatever, good luck with your choice. |

#38 Posted: 3/27/2012 12:36:50 PM I agree that Withey and Robinson could give Sullinger fits down low. To me, the matchup will be won with the Point Guards. One team has a solid although unspectacular PG in Craft. The other team has a sometimes spectacular, but rarely solid PG in Taylor. It was interesting that Taylor's "breakout" game was against 3rd string PG of UNC. hmmmm.... I will take the quick hands of Craft (although overdone by the CBS crew) to force the turnover-prone Taylor into some critical mistakes at crunch time. OSU -2.5 for this newbie...

Good points- Tourney is usually decided by the Guards. Taylor makes a ton of bad decisions, Craft few. Craft is far quicker than he looks and has given every other PG in the tourney fits. I expect the same. Good point on the breakout game vs the fill in from the never supposed to play part of the UNC bench

#43 Posted: 3/27/2012 3:14:37 PM A very underrated aspect of Ohio State is how Aaron Craft gets them to huddle after almost every whistle. Thats a true leader. Thats also a sign of a team who is motivated and hungry to win.
Will they win the game solely on the fact they huddle up after every whistle - No, but this is something that can only help and keep them focused. |

#44 Posted: 3/27/2012 3:22:46 PM Early foul trouble will determine the winner. Both teams have their +'s and -'s. I think this is a very good matchup. |

Agreed! As a Buckeye fan Craft hasn't disappointed since he stepped on campus. This should be a great game. No leans for me. Good luck to everyone on whatever you decide. |

#46 Posted: 3/31/2012 11:28:24 PM well, that is now my second biggest loss ever. I cannot believe how OSU played like girls in the second half when looked in the eye. Pussies. KU deserved to win.
