#3 Posted: 8/27/2012 6:18:22 PM Kentucky is never very good but they are particularly weak this year. Good chance for their little brother to put a whipping on them. Going to have look and see if they have enough firepower to cover a spread this large because it is an opener which often means lots of penalties to overcome on offensive drives.. Lean toward Louisville, would like to hear from some closer to the Louisville program

#4 Posted: 8/27/2012 7:40:14 PM Big year for Louisville. Huge year for Charlie Strong esp. if he wants to move to a real football conference. Kentucky is weaker than usual. I'm on Louisville all year and HUGE in this one. Bet it all the way til Louisville -15.5.
ps. Go Gators! |

#7 Posted: 8/29/2012 3:11:26 PM Card fan here. I think the Cards will win but I wouldn't lay that many points. The cards are still young and the kicking game is suspect at this point. Plus there is a 70% chance of rain and getting higher each day. Also for some reason the Cards have played better on the road then at home under coach Strong. |

#8 Posted: 8/30/2012 6:18:45 AM Tons of questions abound for this game with tropical storm Isaac potentially playing a big part of the equation. Joker on hot seat this year and he has shown in the past (tenn last year) that he can be creative if need be. Talentwise these two teams are similar and both feel they have something to prove. This is too many points for either team so my lean is to UK and the points. I am staying away from the o/u because of weather and turnovers.
Good luck to all!!! |

#11 Posted: 9/2/2012 7:07:38 AM Lousiville - 28 Kentucky - 10
Cardinals -13 under 42.5
Cards seem to be the class team of the big east this year. But remember coach Strong it's not how you start the season, it's how you end it. RUTGERS WILL BE WAITING.
Cardinals - Under

#12 Posted: 9/2/2012 7:38:16 AM Under 42 is the only play I'll touch in this one, but for garbage and giggles I'll pick UK +12.5 here at covers. This usually is a defensive low scoring game. |

#16 Posted: 9/2/2012 12:12:51 PM Last few have been decided by single digits. I like Louisville at home but double digits seems too much to lay in this rivalry game |
