#6 Posted: 5/15/2012 11:28:04 AM So the line changes just a point and a half with Bosh out? This makes no sense to me. Value bet to me is on Indiana +7 BUT I'll just wait and see what MarkDogg does first, that capper over on the NBA forum board is on fire and I'll just blindly follow him.
If you aren't making money on your picks (and 19 out of 20 betters aren't) then fuckin admit it and make two changes. 1) limit your bets to 3% of your bankroll and 2) find and follow somebody who has a long term record proving that they are in the upper 5%. Mostly I'm just laying back and playing with pocket change until these books start charging a reasonable take, 10% is rediculous. Within a year or two the free market economy will allow us to easily deposit money in another Matchbook or Betfair (just a service that lines up bettors on each side of the bet) here in the United States and we will only be charged 1% again. I love sports and sports gambling but I can't stand being exploited. I'd wish you all and but guess what, if you don't realize one doesn't exist than the other one will be gone before you know it. |

#11 Posted: 5/15/2012 6:26:53 PM ---Lets try to do something else ---Instead of playing the whole full game; then I will do first half and FG.....
First Half UNDER 94....1 unit Full Game OVER 186 ...1 unit.
If the first half scores way too high---then play UNDER game total whatever for 2nd half.....
Hopefully, Indiana will cover the 6.5 at the last minutes!

#12 Posted: 5/15/2012 6:55:24 PM let's put it like this... this bet is 75+% in favor of Miami (which is great betting odds in my opinion) -- regardless of previous stats that "the pacers give the heat trouble because of matchups" -- lebron and wade will put this game away because its playoffs (totally different focus and attack than the regular season) -- having no chris bosh changes nothing; lebron & dwade will get more touches. |
