Last weekend I got a hell of a deal at the BC Lions game.
$60 got me a ticket, 3 beers and a bacon wrapped hot dog with some kettle cooked chips... 
Sure, I may have lost $700 on a NCAA game and another $250 on the Argonauts ML, but my luck turned for the best shortly after.
I bought a joint off some asians outside of a internet cafe and placed a large wager on Martinez against Julio Chavez Jr..
I wandered down to English Bay, smoked that while looking out over the ocean -- very peaceful. I continued on to fatburger for 2 more beers for a grand total of less than $5 (2.29 for 12oz).
I left there searching for a screen with the fight but was unable to find a single friggin place with the fight on -- what kind of city doesn't have the fight on?? I finally found somewhere AFTER the fight was over, and the bouncer was nice enough to let me know that Martinez won. I had a few more beer and walked over to the River Rock Casino...played a few hands of poker and low and behold, some old guy who I nicknamed Mr. Set hit a 2 outer on me to rob me of $100. I quickly slapped another $100 on the table and ended up leaving +150 after about 45 minutes of play.
I grinded back the $750 I lost last weekend between NFL and late night Tennis -- now I take my talents to Winnipeg.
Bombers ML -- $50 to win $74
This team is due for a win at home where they actually play some legitimate football. It's going to be a windy one out there!! 20+km winds.
If you read all that -- I applaud you
The Winnipeg D is going to step up tonight.
