It was a sweet little old couple who had a 65 230sl...but when it came to dealing the "sweetness" disappeared ... I offered $ 24,500 and he would not budge off $29,000...it just did not have the quality care I expected and I called 2 collectors who both said they would give me $25,000 tops....NO DEAL!!...cost me $35 in gas for the flat bed I borrowed and listening to Doc moan how we shoulda paid him what he wanted.....grrrr!
