#4 Posted: 11/3/2011 4:50:35 PM The juiciest line I've seen all week is Texas Tech over 24 points. I'm a Texas fan but last week's offensive suckfest by Tech was an aberration. They hung 30+ on every defense they played all year minus ISU. Including OU, KSU, OSU...3 leading teams in the conference. It's easy to understand they came out dead flat after the OU upset and got steamrolled. This is a rivalry game, Tech offense won't sleep through it.
And Texas plays the bend but don't break defense against high volume passing teams. The only two they've played were OU and OSU, and both times they bent and broke often. Not saying Tech wins this game as it's a home game for Horns and they will find success pounding the ball, but holding Tech under 24 isn't happening.
Also like Tech with points and the over. The whiplash reaction from the Horns blowout win and Tech's blowout loss is far overstated. Take the entire year into context and it's not hard to see this will be a close game, at least closer than 2 TD's. |

This line started at 10 and went up to 14...If this were a 7 or 8 point spread, I would take Texas. Texas will win this game, I am just unsure about the cover. |
