Winning day, but it could have been so much better if the Blackhawks don't blow the PL win in the 3rd or give up the penalty when they made the open netter. Not to mention the Penguins missing an open netter to win by 2 by inches. Almost evening up that O/U record now. Hit my lock for the day. Can't complain |

#77 Posted: 2/18/2013 1:24:41 AM Why don't you just start your own blog or something? People post in your thread and you don't bother responding to them. So basically you are having a season long conversation with yourself. Odd.

That's mostly what this is. A way to track my picks and thoughts. There has only been maybe one comment in the whole thread other than 'good luck'. I don't think people take well to newcomers like me here. Perhaps if I continue showing some wins, I can get more responses and for others to share their thoughts. I think it's important to keep an accurate account of all your plays so people can verify instead of just looking at a made up record or winning $. The only other thread I made with a pick, I got one person to respond and it was a winner http://www.covers.com/postingforum/post01/showmessage.aspx?spt=23&sub=101560810
Bottom line, I'll keep posting here all season and happily interact with anyone who offers feedback, good or bad. I also would love to hear more thoughts on whether or not people agree or disagree with my picks before game time along with reasons so I can analyze why. After 2 weeks of betting, NHL seems winnable to me. Even moreso than MLB. I'm already addicted |

Was craving playing the Predators and Ducks today's, but avoiding both games with no Hiller and Fasth in goal. |

#86 Posted: 2/19/2013 12:15:08 PM Today is pretty much the exact opposite for me. Yesterday I had a hard time finding plays I like. Today there are too many and the lines aren't lopsided. Sticking to mostly ML plays today

6-2-1 today. I seem to lose every time I bet on the Maple Leafs game. They're my favorite team, which seems to happen in every sport I bet. Probably just 1 or 2 plays tomorrow then I'll be in Vegas Thursday - Sunday and I'll bet at the sportsbooks |

#94 Posted: 2/20/2013 12:47:47 PM Only one play today and I LOVE it.
02/20:
Avalanche ML 1st Period: -105 ($75)
The Blues are tired. That's a fact. They not only had a physical game yesterday in a 2-1 loss to the Sharks, but they also had an 18 hour flight delay the night before. They showed fatigue last night in the 50% of the game I watched. Now they go straight to Colorado to play the Avalanche. It's the perfect storm. The travel and elevation will affect them. The Avs have been playing fast paced hockey lately and scoring fast and early. Don't forget, Halack is in net for the Blues and he hasn't played in a while. I think he's a but rusty to start and I think the Avs get 2 goals in the first period. |

#95 Posted: 2/21/2013 10:43:08 AM Push yesterday, can't complain. I'm in Las Vegas, so I won't be posting picks until Monday. I will, however, be betting on NHL in the sports books. GL everyone |
