#51 Posted: 9/18/2012 12:34:13 PM The basis for his argument.... his frickin' thesis statement is formated on losses by Vandy, Ole Miss, Auburn, Kentucky (twice), and Arkansas (whom he later coined the SEC's 3rd best team)... and then he questions out of conference play. In doing so, he slams teams like Michigan, Penn St, Clemson, Louisville, Oregon, WV, Fla St, Texas, Georgia Tech... (I'm surely forgetting some) by definition have been out of conference games over the past 2 years. |

ULM and W Kentucky are both in the Sun Belt... They are not D2 schools.. The Sun Belt has been D1 since 1976.

Because it is not decided on the field the "subjectivity" that ESPN shows will lead to another barn-burner SEC National championship....they will play each Nov. 3rd Bama will win and LSU will regain its #2 position by the end of the year...because FSU wont go undefeated and OU will lose 1 or 2, that means the "BEST" conference gets to stay the "best"

I would have no problem if some of the disputes about the "best" were actually settled in non conference games, but playing D2 teams and 1 decent mid-major isnt my idea of challenging yourself SEC!!! Toughest non confernce games were lost, Alabama beat Michigan (Michigan is one dimensional)
Like ive said before each conference has 2 power top teams...and the rest are there to lose......SEC Alabama-LSU.....PAC 12 USC-OREGON.....BIG TEN OHIO ST. WISC...BIG 12 OU- TEXAS ACC: FSU- Miami....substitute clemson acc this year, and ?? for banned ohio st. nebraska??

Should they??? They didnt pound UGA, Oregon lost to Stanford...and What about Stanford???
