#6 Posted: 7/25/2012 9:11:20 AM Vegas is begging for oakland money. Oakland may win who knows but saying the line is saying vegas is begging for jays money is 100% incorrect. Good luck tho, i hope a's win. Not rooting against you at all |

#9 Posted: 7/25/2012 10:01:34 AM hard to see how vegas begs for players to bet the jays by making them 30 cent favorites, & the hot team 20 cent dogs.
i also wonder how vegas makes such a stud pitcher griffin an underdog. each game out, his pitch count gets lower. got pulled after 90 pitches vs yanks. he's brand new to big leagues & may be throwing his arm to exhaustion. Bad games are coming soon for young griffin.

#10 Posted: 7/25/2012 11:24:22 AM Vegas doesn't beg for anything. If the current line balances the books they don't give a garbage what you play. The money has gone a little toward Toronto and that has moved the line, but they aren't "begging" anyone for anything. The A's streak is a beautiful thing to behold, but they aren't as effective versus lefty as righty, and Griifins stats have, in 3 of 5 cases, been compiled on the West Coast, radically different from being a fly ball pitcher in a homer dome. Romero has only 2 starts in true West Coast pitchers parks and both were quality, so how do you compensate him for 18 starts in hitters parks? At least Romero is used to pitching in the highest scoring park in MLB. How does it effect Griffin? None of this garbage is as simple as it looks.
