But thanks to everyone's insight I still came out positive today with Jazz Under 101 and the overall game's under, along with a little 2H bet on the Heat at -12.5 I'm from Ohio and a true Cavs fan at heart and even I knew they were going to blow that game |

I know when you see Chicago you think under, but I dont think so tonite. In their last 5 games the Blazers games have averaged 201 and the Bulls games have averaged 198.6. The Blazers have a weak defense and the Bulls havent been as strong lately. The over is 6-1 last 7 meetings and 5-1 the last 6 in Chicago. I think both teams will be able to score on each other enough to cover the over. The Bulls definitely need this game as they are clinging to a half point lead for 6th place in the Eastern Conference. Should be a sense of urgency there.

0-4 in the last two days on the thread with on the laker game being a complete blow out.
Miami -4 L (bought the points at -4 to make it -2 on my bet and played ML 1W 1P) games ends up -2 Heat
Denver -3.5 L (bought the points at -3.5 to make it -1.5 and played ML 1L 1W) game ends -1 Denver
OKC ML (bought points at +1.5 to make it +3.5 and ML 1W 1L, also played 2H -1 OKC and 2H under 92.5 1W 1L) Game ends -1 Grizzlies
I take it as having the right picks and poor management at the end of games of the last two games with the exception of the Heat (comeback win) and the Lakers (blowout)
On Denver there were also live bets etc. as well as other games live bet but those can be found on other pages of this thread.
I have come to the conclusion that the Thunder need to start thinking about end of game management-Up by 4 with 26 sec in the 4th Q is not the time for Durant or anyone else in the NBA to start shooting 3s. You drive to the Basket and try and get the foul- then you play ZONE and make them take a 3 pt shot if they make it fine if not they will foul you as you should be positioned for the rebound.
So they ended up getting into the foul game with 11 sec to go like 8 pts were scored, why stop it if its working- you are up by 3 foul them get them to the line and if they make both they will foul you with 9 sec to go and keep at it. Just poor management. If they don't correct this quickly I could easily see the Nuggets going deeper than them in the playoff possibly as far as the finals. While the Spurs are a very good team they had everyone healthy last year and OKC took care of them. I don't think the Spurs can keep up with the Nuggets in a full series of games being that they are a jump shooting team they will need to be spot on for the whole series. I wish the Nuggets had a huge line for the western championship but it's not there at least not yet last time I checked it was around +700 might have gone down recently. |

Hey Phixer, Again man, zero disrespect to ya. My questioning your reasoning on the games yesterday was actually because I thought the Ny game was going to go over. People thought NY coming home of road trip would have tired legs, however the previous 5 rd trips of 3 games +, Ny had come home and scored over 100 in each. That along with my last pick regarding Orl having scored near 100 in last 6 rd games. Your a great capper, no doubt. However again, if you give your reasoning as too many things to point out, what can anyone learn from that? I understand your not pickin many games, wait for the right lines you see to be most favourable. However I do see most people writing at least 2-3 sentences regarding their own "why" they like the game. I've seen many times someone posting for first/ second time and more than one person jumps out to explain to the newbies that there must be reasoning behind the pic , may I ask, are you excluded from reasoning for your record? I'm doing my best to be conservative, picking less, Smart picks, however if your the " best" in this thread % wise and you post no reasoning, how does anyone else learn from what you maybe thought and misinterpreted in your analysis of the game? I'm not dissing you in anyway way man, just asking that if you could post some actual reasoning, then for those trying to learn, can maybe learn from the best at what you look at, what decides your pick, and maybe all can learn from that. I've posted 25 games, 12-13 record is what I'm at. However anyone can look at my posts and maybe decipher what I seen, how I seen it, things people can read to decipher. Just asking you could post actual reasoning aside from too many things to write. All I learn from that is perhaps you were not confident in the pic to post your reasoning. However seeing you on the under last night made me hesitant taking the over, now I question myself why? Well I don't know actually, there's too many reasons to write down I guess. I'm not zeroing in on you here, even those that copy and paste trends and say take over, well they should still give some analysis of their thoughts. I can copy and paste also, but what does that help us learn? To copy and be happy with it? If it's wrong then we are simply mislead by trends? There will be trends favouring both ways of every game however if we still don't write our own thoughts on it, nobody will ever learn from others thoughts. Someone copying 10 trends and posting I like over because of these lol. Good reasoning. I guess I'm calling everyone out. If you can't structure one o 2 sentences behind your pic, how does anyone learn from your own personal thoughts. |

I like this pick, many trends for over Little RLM on it, line increase to 189.5 from 187.5 despite 60% on Under - Over is 6-1 in the last 7 meetings.
- Over is 5-1 in the last 6 meetings in Chicago.
Last 5 portland's game, score was > 100 pt Last 7 Bulls game, score was not below 95 pt
I dont really think score could be under 190 tonight

Lol, I did play the Wizards Under for a lot of the reason you just stated. Not included in the contest, I had small plays on the Wizards and the Under. So half of my thought process was on track. I thought the Wiz having big lead like the Clippers meant the exact same thing to that game. I guess the only difference is the Clippers were supposed to be leading by that much!
