Yeah... What are you gonna do? Mike Minor's on my fantasy team so I should have known that was coming..

And Bookie I'd prefer no extra innings but 1-1 gives us room to work with.

Looks like it might all be riding on MIL/SD

Here's what I have found:

Almost no one is hitting for San Diego; No. 3 batter Chase Headley is in a 2-for-17 skid.

Padres right-hander Joe Wieland made his Major League debut April 14 against the Dodgers, and they weren't kind to the rookie.

He allowed six earned runs over five innings. But since then, Wieland's last two starts have yielded promising results and he will try to continue making progress when he toes the rubber against the visiting Brewers on Monday.

Wieland's second start came against the Phillies, an outing in which he gave up just one run but lost. The 22-year-old suffered a similar fate in his latest start vs. the Nationals when he served up two runs but lost again. "After those two first two innings at Dodger Stadium, I was pretty comfortable since then," Wieland said. "I've had no nerves. I've just been going out and doing the same thing I've been doing the last couple years."

A Brewer's fan was quoted "Cheer up, Padre fans. Brewers suck! against rookie pitchers!"

gbpackman, from what I see, you sound like you are in dire need of money. You even believe in jinxes. When did you start gambling? So you mean of all people IN THE WORLD, I am the only one who's thinking that the Mariners@Rays game is already going under? My god. You need a LOT of psychological help sir!

You can't see it when you piss people off cause you are so ignorant. You don't write off games when their only in the 5th inning, You have to be a naive, ignorant imbecile when you have NO clue as to how speak in these threads. You need to stay off the computer and go to your momma cause she will give you a warm nipple.

My degree of education and social class is too high for you so I won't stoop down and level with you because people might think I'm uneducated as you are. Goodluck with your bets and hopefully you win some and get some education so you won't be a loser your entire life! Ciao!

0-3? I have 1-2...

System-1
Braves / Pirates U7.5 (-120) (L)
Brewers / Padres U6.5 (+100) (L)
Rays / Mariners U7 (-120) (W)

4/30
Record: 1-2
-$116.67

YTD
Record: 39-26-1 (60%)
+$1343.51

Pretty sure TB/SEA was under, no? Anyway plays for tomorrow up in the morning.

P.S. Look on the bright side, we weren't on CHC/PHI or LAA/MIN! Saving those units...

New to this site.  Enjoy reading about systems and situational capping.  I think this is one of the better threads I have read.
Keep up the good work.

Would you guys be interested if I posted an extra game each day that fits some special pattern or situation?

Like today it would be:

Cardinals -1.5 (+125)
Home team has a W% greater than 54%. Away team has a W% less than 46%. Home team lost their last game which was also at home.
RL: +2.9% ROI

I'll keep track of the records as I do with the 14 system games.

Let me know if you guys would be into something like that.

The Cleveland Indians are sitting atop the American League Central despite an offense that has not topped five runs and has not homered in any of the last 11 games. They are expecting to get some help in that regard Tuesday when Johnny Damon is scheduled to make his team debut and Shin-Soo Choo (hamstring) should play for the first time a week. The Indians will need all the help they can get against Chris Sale, who has been strong for the Chicago White Sox and is scheduled to start Tuesday in the opener of a three-game series.

The White Sox managed to avoid a four-game sweep Sunday when Gavin Floyd took a no-hitter into the sixth inning against the Boston Red Sox. The win lifted Chicago back to .500. Speaking of struggling offenses, the White Sox have been held to four runs or fewer in seven straight games. Cleveland has gotten strong starts from everyone in the rotation except for Ubaldo Jimenez, who will attempt to turn his season around Tuesday.

Jimenez was knocked around for four runs on six hits in six innings against the Kansas City Royals on Wednesday, absorbing his first loss of the season. The right-hander has more walks (14) than strikeouts (13) and has not made it past the sixth inning since his first outing. Jimenez is 1-1 with a 4.38 ERA in four career starts against Chicago.

Sale has made an easy transition to the rotation, allowing three runs or less in each of his first four starts. He is coming off his best outing, an eight-inning effort in which he allowed two runs in a no-decision at Oakland last week. Sale held the Indians to one run on three hits over 6 2/3 innings to pick up a win April 9

J Damon is here , here is some trend lines on jd

since 08 his b.ave has went from 303 to 282 to 271 to 261 to ???this year
range has deteriorated about 20% since 08
his w/k ratio last year had a major drop of to the worse in 14 yrs.this yr ??
his salary 06-09 13mil 2010 8mil 2011 5.25 mil 2012 1.25 mill ,sounds like a bargain right, well 29 other teams didn't think so..
BUT, some people have a magic about them that brings lightning out of a bottle , so if he can do that , he will be a good addition, if he can't then he brings manny more headaches on placing a lineup on the field because he is one dimensional player now, and there will pressure to play JD.. , SO he could help the indians or COULD HURT THEM... not the kind of addition this team needs..
a GOOD right handed bat could ONLY HELP this team..
