#26 Posted: 4/28/2010 2:13:03 PM This post is useless without pictures. So why are there none posted on the net?? I've seen the slicks from 30,000 feet. Look like (yellow/orange) Red Tides. |

#27 Posted: 4/29/2010 8:26:29 AM How did this country become so stupid that the political argument from people is who is better Sarah Palin or Barrack Obama?
They are both idiots if you ask me. I mean just because you call yourself a democrat or call yourself a republican do you really have to just blindly support them? I mean I grew up a Detroit Lions fan and I root for them but I am not out there arguing about how great they are and they are the best team in football. Can't both parties just admit that your representatives all suck? At least maybe that could be something both parties could agree on. |

#28 Posted: 4/29/2010 8:49:11 AM This is starting to piss me off that it has not been contained yet. As an avid fisherman/outdoorsmen this is bad.
1) What caused this rig to explode 2) How is there no plan to stop a leak like this in place
If this is the fault of BP they should owe hundreds of millions of dollars for the damages and clean up. This is getting outrageous |

#29 Posted: 4/29/2010 8:53:32 AM No surprise here but they have come out to say that they underestimated the leak. What was believed to be 1,000 barrels leaking a day they now say it is more like 5,000 barrels a day! It will be all ashore this weekend and the entire Gulf Coast region from Florida to Texas will likely be completely ruined. |

#30 Posted: 4/29/2010 8:59:21 AM I mean honestly is anyone surprised BP had no plan in case something like this happens? It would cost them billions of dollars in preventative measures that would impact their profits. They aren't going to spend money on something like that. They could care less about the environment. All they care about is maximizing profits. There is really no plan at all. Now Obama is sending in the military to help. What are they going to do bomb the oil slick like America does with all its other problems and hope it goes away? |

#32 Posted: 4/29/2010 9:37:58 AM I read that they spotted 4 grey whales swimming in the oil. Sad. |

#34 Posted: 4/29/2010 1:23:44 PM Thats what republicans do. They don't have real valid arguments so they just project to get away from the subject. |
