Riding with you here Doctor!  There is NO doubt in my mind Morris is a “crook” as he manipulated the score in the Canes last three games (tried his best to allow Georgia Tech to cover, but Paul Johnson screwed that up).  The difference here it’s pretty much even money on both sides versus those last three where ALL the money was riding on the Canes to cover; so I think we are going to see the best out of Mr. Morris in this game.  In fact, I think he is going to try his best to outplay the young phenom under center on the other sideline in front of at least 60 NFL scouts.

With that said, put me down for four (4) C-Notes on Miami plus the extra generous chalk AND one (1) C-Note on Miami ML (+900) just in case Mr. Morris plays the best game of his collegiate career in this prime time nationally televised game.  Thanks!

FSU-21 1/2
Lean over but it will b hard for Miami to score if Clemson couldn't put up but 14 on this defense I doubt the canes will do any better but anyways GL each way you go

I had Miami picked last week on a 5 team parlay and Miami killed it by not covering at home against Wake  and they are supposed to put up a fight against the NOLES? I doubt it probably gonna just take the over in this one.

It's a big # but not sure what Miami has does that makes you guys think they'll keep this anywhere near close. Fla. State has been a machine. Don't see Miami slowing them down. I'll go small on FSU -22

Idk about rigged but can you explain to me about the Stanford guy sliding a couple of years ago? I believe Manning did the same back a couple of years ago instead of going in. Explain that...and the line was on the line.  I didn't have money on it either. I'm just giving you examples.  What about this week dolphin's game...ends in a safety???!!!! Does that not make you wonder??  And what was the total? Exactly!!! My most famous line...don't be a purist...be a realist!!!! That simple! NFL is known for fixing games so don't close your eyes to it.  It's a billion dollar business....it's bigger than all of us sports bettors!!! Come on man!!!

Bhatchett12,

I wasn’t going to address that ignorant post, but I must say your response to it was well articulated…  SOME people just don’t have the mental aptitude to understand when Billions (with a “B”) of dollars are on the line, the Wise Men in Vegas have the cash to corrupt individual athletes, coaches, referees etc…  and once an individual takes a bite of the “poison apple” they own that individual for life…

I read a post once upon time that was simple but dead on…  “If anyone tells you sports wagering isn't controlled, THEY BELIEVE IN THE TOOTH FAIRY.”  Now the key is figuring out the right side of the “heist” and get a good chunk of your chips in the middle…

Just like the Clemson game where I had FSU by like 20. Miami is not that good. Morris is an INT machine and an athlete at QB.

The expectations keep rising at FSU.

I stil have FSU #1, Oregon #2, Ohio State #3, Alabama #4.

FSU- 41
Miami- 17

Going with DrDogs on the UND.

S Morris is NOT a big game player.  My wife texts with him often and the Achilles is just not right (not an ankle like everyone is talking about).  Everyone is looking for points in this one and I don't think MIA will score their share.

Random ?:

Reese Davis made a comment on GameDay this morning...

Something to the effect of "BCS Schools dogged by 24+ are 117-0, all-time"

I know this quote is incorrect, because the game results don't follow this rule. I could have an array of errors in this pseudo-quote.   Please add some insight.

I'm an FSU fan but I'm more a fan of my money. FSU is clearly the better squad and there is no doubt in my mind that they will win. No need to research, no need to pull out any stats here. The players all no about the rivalry and they want to hurt Miami, the fans and students want to hurt Miami. Everybody wants to hurt Miami except the most important person in this equation...Jimbo Fisher. He doesn't give a damn about a 3 touchdown spread, he doesn't give a damn about style points. FSU will win the game and at times it may look like a blow out. But when FSU and Jimbo Fisher takes their foot off the gas early or midway in the 3rd quarter the Canes will keep on fighting.

I hate to put money on my nemesis but as I stated I love my money more than I love this garnet and gold.

FSU wins , Miami covers +21

I take nothing away from the Noles as that brought it defensively, but Phillip Dorsett was truly missed on the offensive side of the ball for the Canes.  Also, Al Golden was way too passive defensively…  With those athletes he has in the defensive backfield, he should have put more pressure on that Winston kid instead of that four man rush all night.  To be successful against that kid, you have to make him make quick decisions and not let him sit back in the pocket.

At any rate, nice job Florida State and Under backers!
