Iowa St...still don't see them covering here...

I think the stakes have been raised for Baylor...dominating teams for fun, scoring 70 at will, has been great so far...they now have a chance, with some help, to play for the national championship.   the computers love them.   a good Kansas ST team slowed them down, but they still scored 35 at Manhatten.   I think they are capable of scoring 70 against Kansas.   And I think with the BCS impact, they are not going to take the foot off the peddle on Offense or Defense.

Baylor 72

Kansas 21

Baylor -35

I think the public will be on Baylor, but not as much with it being an away game, and Baylor's submarginal performance against Kansas St.  I think they will show in this game that they can destroy a bad team on the road and cover.   Though Briles will never admit it, I believe that he knows that the spread is an implied benchmark of the public's perception.   He will do whatever he can to beat that benchmark, in my opinion...

I mean I want to take Kan I really do. You got the road thing although Bay won their first road game vs K St since 2011 this season. Wouldnt it be ironic to have fat lazy charlie weis beat this team or at least cover against this off juggernaut. Kansas is garbage.  It would take miracle..no jinx...Bay and OV for the large.

Charlie Weiss truly is an awful coach and typically helps opponents cover the spread with retarded play calling. If you watched them play texas tech you'd know what I'm talking about. Can't fade Baylor when they've covered 50+ pts against equal and better competition this yr consistently.

Kansas St "non cover" was no fluke!  Baylor HC Art Briles has done very poorly as favorites on the road. In fact, Baylor has failed to cover the last 4 games as favorites!  A word to the wise- Hell, even Oregon fails to cover in certain situations.

if you compare kansas to kansas state... that's a problem.

baylor isn't nearly as dominant on the road as can be seen by just looking at last years results, but kansas state is a well coach team that comes out to play every week, and they had revenge factor when playing baylor. For that reason I was actually on the wildcats in that one. I can't emphasize enough how poorly coached Kansas is. They can hang around at home with the less prolific offenses, but against the prolific offense the bears have... once they get up a couple tds they will start to have a field day on both sides of the ball. Just my thoughts, I've been wrong before.

you guys should utilize Kansas Game with Texas Tech at home earlier this month as a benchmark...what was the outcome?

Texas Tech 54

Kansas 16

That's a 38 point loss to a team less than 3 weeks ago to a team that Baylor will beat by 3 or 4 touchdowns (Tech) when they actually play.

35 points is a lot to give, but I think with the BCS ramifications and with so many undefeated teams, style points will be valued going forward...and with the Big XII being a relatively weak conference this season, even an undefeated Baylor team, probably won't get in the BCS NC game, based on how they started the season.   Baylor has to impress, and show they can win on the road and cover on the road...

Baylor -35

Baylor 63

Kansas 10

Baylor is the best team in the nation at hammering really bad teams that can't score points.  KSU coming within 10 does not fall remotely in that group.  KSU may be middle of the road, but they do have weapons and are not a pushover.

Face it, KU has serious trouble moving the ball and putting up points.  Handing Baylor extra positions is handing away TD's.  This will be another beatdown for the easy cover.  That being said, don't be shocked when things get real dicey for Baylor when the finally face off against legitimate conference foes.

Baylor LARGE

I LOVED over 66....

But apparently so does Johnny Public and our resident "experts".   So why is the line diving faster than Manziel's pen to a photo???
