#6 Posted: 1/13/2011 10:44:30 AM Thursday January 13th: tracking number not yet available in the USPS system:
Bodog customer support emailed me and said it can take 3 business days before the tracking appears in the USPS web site so I could call USPS and get status. I called USPS this morning and there is no record of the tracking number Bodog gave me last friday.
Will update status tomorrow. |

If there was a survey on this site on which book is the worst when it comes to payouts, I Guarantee you Blodog would finish first.

#8 Posted: 1/13/2011 12:21:26 PM Here's my recent experience with Bodog - I requested a check on Jan. 3rd, was approved quickly and got the tracking number for DHL on Thurs, showed up immediately in DHL's system sent from Singapore. But here's the thing - I requested status updates from DHL and when I got the first one, I noticed they had the wrong last name listed for me, everything else correct. I immediately called Bodog to confirm and they said it was probably just a problem with DHL, check should be correct. Then, the next day I got an email from them saying that actually, there was a printing error and they were going to have to reissue me a check. The check did arrive a week after my payout request, but the last name was wrong as they said. They assured me the new check was being sent this week and yesterday I got a new tracking number, this time for USPS. I am having the same issue though where the USPS tracking number is not showing in their system at all - spoke with USPS who said it should be showing immediately once the number is generated so I don't know what's going on. It's concerning that others are having the same issue, though mine hasn't been going on as long. I'm getting pretty fed up, this is bullshit. I should have had my check last Monday. |

#9 Posted: 1/13/2011 12:28:00 PM They did give me $100 bonus for my troubles fyi...but that's peanuts compared to my actual payout request.
Have others recently gotten payout checks from Bodog via USPS? I'm wondering if they recently switched methods from DHL to USPS (which is probably cheaper) and this is causing delays. Everyone knows the US mail system sucks. |

#10 Posted: 1/13/2011 7:14:50 PM Sorry to take over your thread but I just thought I'd let people know my tracking number is now showing up a day later from when I received it, on the USPS website, so I guess that's a good sign. Hopefully yours starts showing up soon. |

I would take that wager. I have gotten paid several times over the past 6 months by ACH/E check and can not complain. There are other books that have many more pending issues.
Perhaps you had a bad experience or haven't been around for long, but Bodog is middle of the pack.

#15 Posted: 1/14/2011 3:20:53 PM I will join in the fray here:
Requested payout on the 4th of Jan Emailed on the 7th with USPS info Tracking number still not available on site
I emailed bodog two days ago - they said it takes usps seven days to post tracking numbers and that may have been delayed 'because of the holidays' |

I get USPS deliveries all the time domestically, and the tracking number shows up immediately. Once a request has been made by the shipper.a tracking number should be generated right away. 7 days? I don't think so. Holidays? Ummm, bullshit. There must be some sort of processor issue, because these excuses are bullshit. Maybe international shipments are different? But I believe USPS offers the same guarantees on international shipments as well as a domestic shipment. It's just more expensive. One last bit of information: I have had an account with Bodog for 10 years, but rarely use it. Recently, I started playing poker, or tried to play on Bodog. I couldn't even find a normal table to play at, There couldn't have been more than a hundred people playing at one time. Mostly at the lowest limits. I waited 15 minutes to play a heads up game and finally gave up. Tumbleweeds were rampant.I am just speculating, but money could be an issue for the Dog. Just for the record, I personally have never had a payment issue with them. I also haven't deposited or requested a payment in 2 years.

#17 Posted: 1/14/2011 7:57:55 PM Agreed, something isn't adding up but it's weird my USPS tracking number is showing up a day later as "Accepted" out of Windsor, CT. Status hasn't changed since yesterday. They did also send me an email today saying that they've recently been notified by their processor they can no longer use the check by courrier service for WA state, but it shouldn't affect this payout since it had already been processed...we'll see. |

#18 Posted: 1/15/2011 2:04:05 PM update: Requested payout January 3
Day 12:
Saturday January 15: tracking number STILL NOT available in the USPS tracking service:
However, Check was delivered this morning. Guess you can't count on the tracking information! So 12 days, not so bad.

. Did you notice if the tracking number on the envelope was the same as the one Bodog gave you?

#21 Posted: 1/17/2011 11:38:44 AM I had a similar experience this month, received a payout in about 10 days but the tracking info was never updated online.
Only thing I didn't like was it had to be signed for or it would be returned at my expense.
Overall I was pleased with the transaction. |

I know this post is old but I'm actually trying to find a good book right now and every one seems to have some drawback. What are say the top 3 out there right now? |
