#51 Posted: 4/12/2012 1:35:44 AM are games fixed in the NBA, not all of 'em or even a majority but absof/ckinglutely
In this case, the ref knew about the Portland spread and screwed all you GS bettors, if that makes you feel better.

#52 Posted: 4/12/2012 1:36:10 AM lee stuck his arm out to try and grab the guy it was a very weak effort not like a foul he was trying to make on purpose also the ref waited a sec until the player went by and started dribbling up court that's what pissed me off why did he call it on a delay and with 1.2 secs left i mean cmon if it was a 3 point game or something then ok but a 6 point game |

#55 Posted: 4/12/2012 1:40:34 AM the ref prob saw lee's arm go out....and he made a foul call...if you notice it was the ref that was at half court closest to the camera that made the call...he wasn't even in position to make that call......
syke....why he made that call there..i dunno....i agree it was useless to make that call but he did and just like many other instances the refs control the game more than they should |

#56 Posted: 4/12/2012 1:48:46 AM look at it this way, boston up 2, spread 2.5, ref doesn't call a foul, vegas wins.

#57 Posted: 4/12/2012 1:48:59 AM it was a foul that would be called if it was like a 2 point game or 3 point game, but the fact it was a 6 point game with few secs left why call it, what purpose does it serve and if u watch it again he didn't call foul right away that's what really pissed me off is he delayed a sec or 2 |

#58 Posted: 4/12/2012 1:50:11 AM i would like to watch every nba game the last 10 secs of the game and see how many times the refs don't call fouls and just let the game be over in situations like that i would say it's over 90 percent of the time |

#59 Posted: 4/12/2012 1:57:08 AM NBA games ARE fixed but it's a lot easier to fix for OVER (just call a lot of fouls) than to fix it for any side.
I think i read it somewhere that Tim Donaghy ref 'ed games tend to go over.
but agreed that he shouldnt call that foul with 1.7seconds left, i think 2 refs swallowed the whistle and 1 just blew it |

#60 Posted: 4/12/2012 1:59:38 AM Lee went to foul but then pulled his hand back, a def no call, not fixed just a dumb behind ref, hope he burns in hell. |

#61 Posted: 4/12/2012 2:02:00 AM i was so happy when rush hit that 3 to go down 6 to cover the 2nd half then my heart just dropped to my knees when the ref called the foul with 1.6 secs left, that's the highs and lows with gambling, i mean rush could of very easily missed that long 3 games over warriors lose by 9, but the fact he made it then 1.2 secs away the thrill of victory and the agony of defeat gotta love it |

#67 Posted: 4/12/2012 2:25:43 AM That foul got called with 1 sec left but the no call in OT in the Bulls-Knicks game when Shumpert took Rose down didn't get a whistle blown. These are 2 seperate games but still when 2 players go down it's an obvious whistle no matter what. Yet it didn't get called but this bs foul got called. I'm sure there is fixing in the NBA but I choose to keep betting it because I'm sure not every single game is fixed. I hope haha. |

that's what is such bull garbage about the nba if it's the playoffs they let them play late in games, if it's ot or tied at end of game they won't call a foul when it's going to the basket, but with 1.2 secs left in a 6 point game on a touch foul they will call a foul there's no consistency in the nba |
