#34 Posted: 5/5/2012 9:37:43 PM I lost my parlay when Adam Dunne homered to beat Tigers in top of the ninth. Had to sweat out Pacers OT win and then CRAPS! Now Isweat out Clips and Tampa is tied with Oakland. Gods are not with me today. |

#35 Posted: 5/5/2012 10:30:00 PM wish you have a great winning day, tomorrow there are some valuable MLB / safe MLB games as well. i'm not japanese, but Darvish has changed his pitching style, and it's worked for him, i need to check sabermetrics, but so far Rangers will win tomorrow, so cosider taking ranger ML with low odds, probably. and another game to take risk is Royals - Yankees, Hochevar VS Hughes matchup, and my lean is over now. Hochevar has a lot of potential to become one of the top starters, but he's done that so far. last year, after all star break, he pitched great thanks to his awesome slider. however, i checked his graphs & stats, i thought he is inconsistent. if he has got that slider (actually, his slider & sinker were really good when his arm slot was pretty similar), i would take him a while, but not this time. think about those two games. just my guess so far, and i MUST check detailed stat & sabermetrics. |

#39 Posted: 5/6/2012 8:51:28 AM All Sporting Events that have money involved, there is always someone behind the Scenes controlling the outcome. Its not Sports no more, Its a BU$INE$$. Where do you think the revenue comes from to generate ridiculous contracts for the Athletes? Tickets, Jersey sales, food sales, Sponsors and Yes.............Gambling ! All players know the lines of games there involved in and know they control the outcome of who profits one way or another. Anyone to think otherwise is Naive. This is All Entertainment

#40 Posted: 5/6/2012 9:55:06 AM Basketball is a game of runs! My city league team was up 19 with 5 mins left and we started playing lazy final score 75-72 point being its not just the nba it's basketball if you feel your the better team you tend to play down to your competition |

I feel the same way, crazy bad beats happen to me all the time in every sport, even in poker..... just last week I lost big on a baseball game when my team the Rangers had a 5 run lead and blow it halfway through, and i've been there with basketball too where they even close down the live betting for the ML because the odds would be so small and yet somehow that team finds a way to lose even having a 10+ lead in the last 3 minutes. I can't recall once my team made the huge comeback. some people like us just don't get the breaks to go their way

#42 Posted: 5/6/2012 10:14:58 AM Uhopeilose - These guys are PROFESSIONAL. As a professional you don't act like the game is all over.
i_Win_u_Lose - Thanks for sharing your thoughts man
This is why i love the NFL a lot more, bullshit happens there too, but not in the same way. Look at a team like Patriots, even tho they are leading by 30 points they are not being idiots, they keep going, they keep putting pressure on, and they keep letting Brady play. In basketball it's like "Ohh yeah, lets bench the player even tho the next game is in 3 days..."
AND IF they let the players play on the field, then they are so undisciplined, unfocused half of it could be enough, look at D-Rose, if he was a little more focused he wouldnt have been injured.. Some players in this league thinks this is some kind of circus, its not, its friggin professional sports, take it serious...

#47 Posted: 5/9/2012 12:23:57 PM How about us Grizzly backers in game 1. Had Grizzlies -5 & ML up 24 with 7 minutes to go. Then POOF, Grizzlies not only don't cover, but lose the damn game. Set the record for worst blown lead in NBA playoff history & of course I was on it double. |

#48 Posted: 5/9/2012 1:19:40 PM That when you get up DD and feel you are handling a team you go into coast mode basically just going through the motions and by the time you realize what's happening they're down 1 or two and it's damn near impossible to just turn it on. |

#50 Posted: 5/9/2012 2:09:02 PM Uhopeilose - Professionals shouldnt do that, they get paid millions for playing, then you shouldnt be slacking. We've seen this enough, people should learn that it COULD happen, and therefore they shouldnt slow down. It's stupid, it's unprofessional and it's undisciplined.
