|I've seen games like this before, and been on the Cinci side before... The "Ooooh Cinci is gonna blow them out, Philly sucks..." side. The line has been trickling upwards, usually a sign of steady, one-sided public money... not influential, sharp money.

After analyzing some of the more key stats, (YPPlay, YPR, Sacks, Sacks Allowed, YPR Against, Turnovers, Turnover Margin) I've found these two match up almost identically except in one glaring area. That is sacks, and sacks allowed. Cinci has WAY better D-Line play, while Philly has zero O-Line.... Still not sure that warrants a nearly 6 pt road favorite.
But here's where I like Philly. They've played improved ball over the last three games with the QB change. They lost to Carolina while Foles was new under center, but still new to the offense. They outgained Dallas in Dallas and led most of the game. Nick Foles' QBR has improved EVERY GAME he has played. Bryce Brown is rushing for a ridiculous 5.69 yards per rush attempt (almost 1.5 yards BETTER than Mccoy) AND he already has double Mccoy's rushing TDs on the year. I couldn't believe that when I saw that stat.
Bengals are also on a horrible primetime SU skid in primetime as well under Marvin Lewis (4-11), and they haven't kept it close in those games either!
One of my fears was Cinci's 4-2 road record... but look at their wins: Washington, Jacksonville, KC, SD.
I'm sorry but I refuse to drink the kool aid.... I'll be on Philly+5.5 (Or possibly higher!) tonight come kickoff... I also like Philly's youth getting a chance to shine here as well. Young kids with something to prove will see this as an audition for next season and step up. No one on that team has quit on Andy yet.
