#3 Posted: 10/3/2012 5:29:57 PM Trying to figure out why the line hasn't moved yet. Cincy has a lot to play for, starting everyone. St Louis has nothing to play for and resting everyone. Figured the line would move by now. Still sitting at -141.
If the line gets lower for the Reds, I'll probably just shut my computer and TV off and go to bed. No use in following the debacle. |

#4 Posted: 10/3/2012 5:48:41 PM I was under the impression that Washington won head to head with Cincinnati, therefore Cincinnati has nothing to play for. If they end tied, then Washington wins (there is not a one-game playoff). Cincinnati, I believe will pull Homer after 5 innings, just like last night and the night before. Expect to see numerous players running in and out of the game. Dusty wishes to examine his bullpen to see who is going to make the Playoff roster, so he has 4 innings to do it. Reds, like Cards, after the Washington win, have nothing to play for. |

#5 Posted: 10/3/2012 5:50:02 PM Cincy has nothing play ........ with their win early, the Nats are secure the best record in NL because of the head to head ( 5-2 Nats)
right ?

#10 Posted: 10/3/2012 5:59:27 PM the reds have absolutely nothing to play for, the nationals already won the top seed, this game will be a coin flip. |

#13 Posted: 10/3/2012 6:07:24 PM I stand corrected. Reds have nothing to play for but to go into the playoffs on a roll. They are going to get 2 days of rest on Thursday and Friday, so I don't see them pulling players early unless the game is out of hand. |
