Its funny how some people have bought into his whole "world peace" act of his the last year or so and act like this guy isn't just a ignorant street thug that's a ticking time bomb for his next violent ridiculous explosion. He did the most reprehensible act ever of going into the stands and beating on a fan a few years ago as everyone has seen. Funny part is he attacked the wrong guy!!!!

So now he decides to take down James harden in which was nothing but a cheap shot. How can he and laker homers actually try and say it was an accident??? The dude just reeled up and decked the guy with his elbow actually, wasn't an accident at all. He was pumped up, a guy was in his space, and his brain reverted back to ron arrest mode and he decked the guy, plain and simple.

Its a real disservice to humanity that this guy gets to make millions of dollars and live in the lap of luxury when he's basically just a thug psychopath out there trying to harm people whenever his brain short circuits. Seriously there needs to be criminal charges brought against him for yesterday. You can't just elbow people (with your massive arms also) and just not get to play basketball for a few games because of it. If I did that to a guy crowding my space on the elevator I'd be in jail.

Throw Arrest out for another season, or forever, and bring criminal charges against him for his attack on Harden yesterday. Enough is enough, sick of losers like Street's dumb behind thug act. Go back to the streets where you belong

I'm waiting for someone to give Kobe the very same treatment, especially after Bynum's shot on Barrea last year and now with Metta's elbow to JH's head. Trend going on here.

The Lake Show, when you can't beat 'em, beat 'em!

i'm not condoning what artest did, but in slow motion everything looks more dramatic than it really is. he just dunked on two people and was pounding his chest, when he felt harden bump him from behind. yes i was intentional, however its not like he turned around, saw harden, then cocked back and smashed him..what bynum did to barea was far worse imo..nonetheless both wrong...now, as far the palace incident, the "most reprehensible act ever" would be the drunk fans throwing garbage at artest while he was lying down on the scorers table. if you weren't ignorant and actually knew what happened, or took the time to research the palace incident, i would say a vast majority of nba players would have reacted like artest

Actually, that's effectively exactly what he did.  Didn't need to turn around.

+1

Not to mention that when Harden ran up on him, he began tapping/bumping Artest's shoulder.  So you mean to tell me he STILL had no clue someone was there?  Ya, would've loved to see him smash a teammate there...but wouldn't have happened!  ...Cause HE KNEW!  (same reason he just kept running and didn't turn around and the elbow was highly elevated)

I'm just surprised Harden's head didn't come off rolling into the Laker bench after that vicious hit.

Anyone who says this act wasn't intentional is out of their mind... The #1 give away is that after he smashed him with his elbow with full force he didn't turn around once but already know exactly what he did when the ref blew the whistle... If he didn't mean to, he would have turned around to see who he hit and also wouldn't have defended himself the way he did when the whistle blew.

Common FKING sense that some of you people turn a blind eye too. I honestly don't care that he hit that guy it doesn't effect me and made for good ratings so who cares... Don't tell me it was a friggin accident though your out your mind

I would love to see some full contact basketball, strap a helmet on their behind and let them bring their guns.
