Gotta agree with this.  I noticed in a lot of our photos, I have the same shirt on at the start of the trip and at the end of the trip.

went to hong kong a few weeks ago.  planned on bringing a ton of stuff back.  i emptied half my wifes clothes the night before and told her whatever she wanted to buy we would get.
she had plenty of clothes still and just bought jewelry and knick nacks.

if i could have smuggled a 25 yr old cantonese girl back id be divorced already

did everything you buy fall apart?  girlfriend and i were there back in october, and seems like everything we bought was garbage quality, outside of stuff we got from legit international retailers.

got 2 K of tailored shirts (bc im big and long armed)...solid quality
a bunch of still functioning fake watches...well see
wife wearing jade and pearls still..quite happy
using a mont blanc wallet...fake
a lot of tea/tea sets..still work

but all the other colorful crap and fake purses...i dunno,  we gave most away to buds...that may be the first to bust.  that was temple st night market...tough to trust but we gave with a disclaimer
