#26 Posted: 11/4/2011 7:21:24 PM Leafs have been the best team in hockey since January 1 when Sid suffered his concussion... (which may be why they are # 1 and not # 2) ...they are on pace to be the Champions of 2011 calendar year (whatever the frick that's worth)... |

Has been the best addition for this team for faceoffs. 3rd in the league. This team needed a faceoff guy bad for years. I always said it. Once Reimer gets back the PK will be better. |

#31 Posted: 12/5/2011 4:26:03 PM 5-7-1 since the OP..... not suprised....they are still at (within 2 spots) of the same positions from the OP..... this wasn't hard to see coming, I think they will continue to play .500 hockey the rest of the year. |

#32 Posted: 12/5/2011 4:39:35 PM I think leafs make the playoffs, barely...but would be more than willing to wager they do not finish higher than the Rangers in the final standings.
Not to say I dont like them to come in and surprise the Rangers tonight....just not a better team in the long run....especially if the Rangers get Staal back and stay reasonably healthy

#34 Posted: 12/5/2011 5:24:41 PM hey happy cap take off you blue googles and realize they are overachieving...
They are no lock for the playoffs. They have a shot but more then likely 9th 10th place is awaiting them.
Enjoy it |

Leafs are currently 29-27-4-3 and 4 points out of a playoff spot in the east..... A far car from 4th, 5th or 6th Happy |

#38 Posted: 2/29/2012 10:33:58 PM That's a microcosm of the leafs season in tonight's game. Early hope, terrible finish and meaningless garbage goal. |
