#5 Posted: 10/7/2012 2:09:29 AM If all you need are 8 teams to vote in favour of a lockout, my guess would be the teams gary controls: Florida, Dallas, Columbus, Phoenix, Anaheim, Carolina, Nashville, Colorado and NJ. They are all saving money by not playing. I've wanted to impale...err impeach gary for the last 18 yrs. He has ruined this league.

Basically the league currently shares $150 mil of revenue, they proposed a bump to $190 mil, the players are seeking $250 mil, this is money out of Jacobs pocket. The players basically think darn the small market teams, the Habs and Leafs can pay their bills, we don't give a darn. This appears to be a battle of who subsidies the Yotes and Lightning and whatnot. |
