Can you have a winning session?...Of course.

Can you BEAT A TABLE GAME?....No
Pass line w/odds, as you point out, is the safest way to bet....and lose money OVER THE LONG RUN...which means you will, sometimes, have a winning session or trip.
So true, I remember thinking a long time ago, Well Blackjack can be beaten, but after spending time learning to count cards and dealing at various casinos in Vegas and San Diego CA, I have learned the only way to to have a shot using the counting method is to spread your bet huge not 4 to 1 like a stupid book says.
If you are a 25 dollar bettor and your count reaches a true count of +7 or more single or double deck and double after splits favorably, You would have to raise your bet to atleast 500 dollars to offset the house advantage, problem is if you bet more than 100 the dealer is soppose to yell out checks play, this alerts the house and they start watching you, it doesnt take long to get caught, because going from 25 to 150 will draw heat and you arent even thwarting the house edge at all, its gotta be 500 or more and that my freind the casino will never allow you to do, thats why not even counting cards works anymore, that is why several counting teams have been successfull, big player gets signal, bam he is there out of no where, he cant be a counter and he bets the max.
Thats it, for anyone who thinks any table game can be beaten, Its not true, give up on the idea now please. |
