No, as I said, the media didn't edit 9-11 calls or doctor videos to make OJ look guilty. In fact, they didn't really cover the story by "framing" the case to make him look guilty.

Zimmerman should sue NBC for defamation. That edited 9-11 transcript ran on multiple NBC network shows, the local Orlando NBC affilaite, and in print media outlets. Additionally, he was charged 4 days after in ran on the Today show.

I would love to see what discovery turned up on their internal discussion on making those editorial choices...

Defamation burden is way to high. Zimmerman is a public figure (whether he likes it or not). Proving intent, falsity, and malice would be very difficult here.

OJ could have made the same claim BTW. The media reported many things about the case that apparently the jury disregarded as being not true.

A full police report is not available to the public. The police reports that have been released say "PARTIAL ONLY" right at the top.

So again, I'm not sure why you kept saying wound ballistics were not done.

The report I posted was more in-depth than this and the report I have seen, even moreso.

In none of the reports, is it noted that the body was sent for testing. The funeral directors statements echo that as well.

As I said previously, it was simply a rush to judgment. Sadly, there are thousands of cases each year handled the same way. The ironic part is that an innocent defendant would want a full and complete report. Zimmerman may be the one to suffer as a result of it not happening.

djbrow,

do you have a link to the police reports you posted?

I posted it in one of the zillion long threads on this case several weeks ago. We talked about it because we discussed the fact that the officer noted in his report that he did not question Zimmerman.

Pretty much all of those reports aren't available now.

The lengthier report that I have seen isn't available online. No ground breaking stuff it in, btw. Just confirms what I said about no mention of ballistics.

Djbrow,

from CNN coverage of the bond hearing:

Martin was shot once in the chest at close range, Gilbreath said

(*Also not that article mentions twice that Zimmerman told police he was getting his head bashed onto the sidewalk)

Though all the listings for the police report I find all say "partial"

They know the range was close because there were powder burns on his sweatshirt. What they don't know is the path of the bullet which could support ZImmerman's conention that Martin was on top of him or dispute it.

Another black on white attack because of this matter:

Owens' sister, Ashley Parker, saw the attack. "It was the scariest thing I have ever witnessed." Parker says 20 people, all African American, attacked her brother on the front porch of his home, using "brass buckles, paint cans and anything they could get their hands on."

Police will only say "multiple people" are involved.

What Parker says happened next could make the fallout from the brutal beating even worse. As the attackers walked away, leaving Owen bleeding on the ground, Parker says one of them said "Now thats justice for Trayvon."

=============

Isn't is nice that Obama's election reduced racial tension in America?
