because the last time i sent a moneygram a few years ago or whenever it was, i remember it was only for about $100 i think and they questioned me about the name that i was sending it to. For some reason the name was red flagged on moneygrams end, and i ended up having to go back to the moneygram place and calling back my sportsbook. Moneygram asked me what i was sending it for and i remember i said something stupid like buying something online or whatever, anyways i forgot what question i needed to have answered but i got the answer i needed from betjamaica at the time and then i gave the answer to moneygram and then it went through. The point being that it was way too much of a hassle to send through moneygram and even though i've also received money through moneygram without any problem before in the past, i don't trust them at all. Western union has never been a problem. The worst problem i've had through western union was one time when i was supposed to receive $2000, the place said that i needed another form of id and thank goodness my social security card was good enough for that and since that time i've even gotten a passport so i recommend western union. |
