The majority seems to be on Memphis.  We all know what that means.

Let me debunk a few reasons why everyone is on Memphis tonight:

1.  Kansas barely beat Davidson.  That proves nothing.  Davidson was playing some phenominal basketball.  The were huge dogs and beat some really good teams.  Fact is, Kansas beat them and that's all that matters.  Who knows if Memphis would have fared better.

2.  Kansas let UNC back in the game.  Come on folks, Kansas was up huge at the half against UNC. Of course there was a letdown in the 2nd half to be expected, yet Kansas still covered the 2nd half spread!

Kansas +2 in this one folks.

Let me get this icon straight out of the way ... And only because I want it to be like this ... For basketball fans all over the country ...

I've got this one going into overtime at 77-77 ... In overtime, I have Kansas getting up at the end and Memphis FINALLY showing their free throw woes ... My cap is:

Kansas 92
Memphis 88

With that, you know where I am ...

Memphis  -1 1H

Kansas +2.5/Under 148.5   parlay

Prop:  1st H-Memphis/Game-Kansas...just for kicks (odds on this are 5-2)

Good luck all, this REALLY is a crapshoot, but should be a good close game and hope I make some  watching it while drinking my Stellas

I'M LIKING THE UNDER IN THIS ONE.  BOTH HAVE GREAT OFFENSES, NO DOUBT, BUT THEIR DEFENSES ARE EXCEPTIONAL TOO.  I THINK THE GAME WILL BE HIGH INTENSITY AND THE DEFENSE WILL HAVE A LOT TO SAY ABOUT THE OUTCOME.  KEEP DRIVING THAT LINE UP, BECAUSE I'M ALL OVER THE UNDER AND IT MIGHT BE MY ONLY PLAY ON THIS ONE.  THE SIDE IS A COIN FLIP.

Memphis is averaging 8.2 Turnovers per game in the tourney.
Kansas is averaging 14.2 TO p/g in the tourney.
Memphis had 12 in their first game, hasn't had more than 9 since.
Kansas believe it or not had 19 against UNC.

If this is going to be a tight game, this could be a huge  factor.
And with all the talk about Memphis' FT shooting, Kansas only shot 57% from the FT line against Davidson.

All the talk about the Memphis guards are going to have a tough time against the more physical KU guards. Well remember Curry got 25pts against them. Chalmers and Rush only had 13 and 12pts respectively against Davidson.

This is a very even match up. I still think Memphis is on a mission, they still have the us against the world thing!

Memphis -2

Didn't you also say that Louisville would win the tourney back when they were playing Tenn?

I will take Kansas here and I will stand by my pick 100%.

That was the worst I've ever seen UNC play this year when they were down 40-12, and they still damn near brought it all the way back against Kansas.  Kansas also struggled against Davidson.....which leads me to pondering something I heard Robert Montgomery Knight say at the beginning of the tourney.  He said something to the effect of the team with that has the most concentration and mental toughness is the team that's going to win the tournament.  Nothing about what I've seen out of Kansas the past two games says mental toughness.  Athletic?  yes.  One of the top defensive teams in the country?  yes.  One of the best coached teams in the country?   no.  A more mentally tough team than Memphis?  no.

Memphis is ready to show the world that they weren't the # 1 ranked team in the country most of this year for no reason.

I've got MEMPHIS ML  -130.  I do expect it to take everything they have to beat a tough Kansas team.  This will be a very competitive and fun to watch contest.

GOOD LUCK TO ALL TIGERS BACKERS!!!!!!!!!!

Had KU in my brackets but will come up short even w/ the win.   Had Memphis bowing out to Texas and that obviously didn't happen.   Memphis playing GREAT ball.   Kansas already had their run, it was in NCAA Football and not bowing out of the NCAA Tourney early.   Beale Street (spelling?) is rocking around 11ish tonight.......

I hate taking the under, but after getting burned by the over in 3 of the last 4 games Memphis and Kansas played, I'm taking it tonight.  These teams are both slowing the ball down and setting up the half court a lot more than they were during the regular season when they were putting up ridiclous point totals on a weekly basis.

Again it's hard betting the under with the posibility of fouling at the end of the game or overtime, but I think the point total should be much closer to 140 here.

So under it is.  3 units.

Hmm, no NBA games today.  Of course, all the pros are going to watch tonight's game.  I wonder if this is how it works every year.

LIKING MEMPHIS HERE , I THINK KANSAS REALLY WENT ALL OUT AGAINST UNC, AND IT WAS A VERY EMOTIONAL WIN ...I THINK THEY WENT ALL OUT EMOTIONALLY AND PHYSICALLY TO GET THE WIN AGAINST ROY WILLIAMS AND  THROW IT IN HIS FACE FOR LEAVING...., KINDA THINK THEY TREATED THAT GAME LIKE IT WAS A CHAMPIONSHIP GAME , KANSAS IS A GREAT TEAM BUT I JUST DONT SEE THEM GETTING IT DONE TONIGHT AGAINST THIS TALL,ATHLETIC MEMPHIS TEAM COACHED BY THE PAIZAN CALIPARI ....I REALLY THINK IT IS GOING TO BE CLOSE THE WHOLE GAME AND MEMPHIS HITS FREE THROWS IN THE FINAL MINUTES AND WINS BY 5-7.....

Kansas ML +110

Kansas is so much deeper then Memphis in the frontcourt.  Dorsey gets in early foul trouble...again.  I like Kansas overall team an maturity better then that of the Tigers.  Rush will frustrate CDR leaving Rose to "do it all."  I'll take the experience and balanced team with Kansas over Memphis.
