#176 Posted: 12/12/2007 1:52:55 AM The Patriots are an outstanding offensive team, but their defense is not as good as advertised. More likely than not, they will go
16-0..but it won't mean much if they don't win the the Super Bowl. The AFC playoffs are going to be interesting... |

You or right come playoff time it is definetly going to be interesting but i'm already getting prepared for if the patriots are undefeated and happen to lose in the playoffs or superbowl all the excuses that the patriots fans will give everything is great now but when they do lose ever excuse will be given. Also just in this thred alone look at the number of pats fans who say that there defense is very good and that there is no problem with it but let them get beat and those same pats fan will be back on here saying well i knew our defense was'nt very good i knew sooner or later they are going to get beat.............That is the true pats fan!!!!! |

#184 Posted: 12/13/2007 3:53:52 AM If Pats don't finish this with a SB win. Will this be considered the biggest choke job in history? I mean because there so dominant, how can anything besides an act of God defeat this team? |

#186 Posted: 12/13/2007 10:36:55 AM QUOTE First off i must say I have not finished reading the whole thread but it is f'n hilarious. 34 Payton wow what can I say but go smoke another one. I like how you bash the Pats for the schedule they have. And how great the bears were. What may I ask happened to the game that they played against Miami????????????????????????????????????? Looks to me like they fuckin lost man. What up. That was the best team they played that year. WTF!!!!!!!!
How could that happen if they were so great. What happened to the 3 best teams in the league this year besides the Pats who the pats have played.
Dallas unbeaten when they played beat em
Indy unbeaten when they played beat em
Pitts #1 Def as of when they played Beatem
I am not sure what it is that you are smoking but I think I may want to try some. Might feel like getting into an argument with someone over the Oilers hockey club from the 80's and see what we can come up with.
Really man give your head a shake. Maybe you need to go to the gym and get a job as a sparring partner with a pro boxer or something. Might knock some sense into you. Have a good life jackass!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

8) And the final step bet it all on *********PITTSBURGH +10.5************** And if you can get a better line then even more power to you!!!!
So you can thank me monday morning for your new found wealth as you will be pretty busy sunday!!!!!!!
I sure as hell hope that you followed your own thoughts jackass. You would prolly be back in the same hole that you were in when this thread started. Wow what a game it was. Pitts is in my football draft and in the one forum in the thread I even called a 31-13 beating of them. I was off by a field goal. lol |

The Patriots, on the other hand, are undefeated. How much better can you be???? They won all of the games on their schedule so far. What more do you want??/ 40+ pt. blowouts EVERY game. That's only in college football. Free agency and parity in the NFL has made this even more impressive.
This was another idiot from earlier in the week i asked this guy who was better the 1972 miami dolphins or the 2007 new england patriots. And his answer the 2007 patriots now if you see what he said that the patriots or unbeaten and can only beat who's on there schedule. Well i maybe wrong but did'nt the 72 dolphins beat everyone on there schedule including the world championship so they beat everyone that the NFL told them they had to play so unless i'm missing something there is no way anybody could do better equal to maybe but not better.....So why do you think he said the 2007 patriots were better??? Probably because he is not a fan of miami!!!!!! So like i've been saying these patriots fans can bash and put down everyone else but get very upset when you try and bash there team...........These people are just complete morons!!!! |

Well just remember i'm here to help if you ever do need it....And the only thing i can say about all the rest of it is to say that your to close to it because your a fan and i completely understand this but if you ever do just stop step back and look at this thing objectively with no thought of being a fan then you will see that 90% of what i have said here is correct..........But i guess until then keep your eyes closed and rooting for your pats!!!!!!! |

#198 Posted: 12/13/2007 4:31:30 PM Someone ask me if i could rate the best quarterbacks playing today so
here they are the top 15 ranked in order of the best playing today......
#1 peyton manning #2 brett favre #3 carson palmer #4 tony romo #5 big ben #6 drew brees #7 vince young #8 jeff garcia #9 derek anderson #10 eli manning #11 david garrard #12 kurt warner #13 tom brady #14 donavon mcnabb #15 phillip rivers
So there you go guys the best playing today ranked in order so who wants to debate this list open for discussion!!
Guess this list you created falls into the 10%.. Brady #13?
To do, what he did, with what he had in his ROOKIE season, you'd think he'd get some kinda credit, no?
#13...and you see why even the novice fan thinks of you as
Brady Rules baby...believe that

#199 Posted: 12/13/2007 5:00:12 PM Are the Pats my fav NFL team NO. Have I enjoyed watching them over the last 5 years HELL Yeah. They have an amazing squad and I could not wait to see them play this year after they got Moss. I Am loving to see every game because of the threat they are. Yeah OK given they have had 2 close games so far yet still come out on the right end of the ball.
But I was reading this thread for the first time earlier today with a friend and both of us thought to ourselves what is this guy talking about. Bring on the cold weather also come playoff time. The Pats play in it every year. Not every team gets that opportunity in the league. Some of them get the lovely confines of an indoor stadium. Let them go to foxboro come january and see how they can do. Not only against the best team in the league hands down but have to try and overcome the weather also. Yeah this team is a treat to watch. I can say I did not watch many of the games the bears played when the fridge was playing but they were good no doubt. They also had a guy that weighed about 800 lbs on the Oline that they could almost do anything against anyteam for the fridge could block 3 people himself. Leaving all kinds of people open. Well this NE squad does not have a fridge. All they have is pure talent out there every game. I even recall someone saying this year that Brady does not even have a good arm? WTF Even when he gets a 40 + yard pass off it's still on a frozen rope almost. Only 2 other QB's I know in the last 10 or more years to through a ball as straight and hard are Farve and Manning. Well seeing as how Brady will Probably tie Mannings record for td passes this week with 2 still to play you have to admire the guy. If you can not you are way to biast. Sorry but how I see it.
Remember this is not my fav team I just appreciate watching good football and you don't get any better than that really for the last years now. Sure Indy has been good as well, but this team is dominant. I want to see Indy go there in Jan for the Conf. title game and play in the cold just to really let them know where they stand. Take it how you want to but In the year 2007 The pats are the best team in a long time. Whoever is better in the past who gives a garbage. We will see in another 2 months if the pats are the bast of all time. Right now from what I'm seeing. They would be the best I've ever watched. G'day. |
