#276 Posted: 12/25/2007 1:39:33 PM Well I do give the PATS props for what there are doing and how that organization is ran, and when it comes to the greatest teams, we'll never know, but one things for certain, the 72 Dolphins in my opinion can't compare to the PATS. In all of sports there has to be a cut off point as to how ar you can go back for teams that can compare with teams of today. Just like the world, everything gets better with time, and the athletes of today is simply no comparison of the athletes in 72, PLEASE. That is for sure. The players of today are bigger and stronger and just as talented if not more. All I've seen of the 72 Dolphins is some old crusty film. I don't care what they've done, there's absolutely no way that a 72 team would outclass the best 2007 team. |

#279 Posted: 12/26/2007 1:25:50 AM Patriots won the superbowl 3 times in a 4 year span. Did any of the other teams do that? In the last 6 years the patriots have made the divisional playoffs 5 times.. and just NOW are they going to try and become 19-0 in a season too? I'm sorry, that sounds like a dynasty, and you try to compare one year of the bears to that? Yes, they did have a good run of about 5 years but only walked away with one superbowl ring and that was their best record ever. The pats have already won superbowls and they are just getting better it seems? Perhaps the patriots make other teams look a lot worse than they really are as well? Do we forget about miami almost beating pittsburgh on monday night but failed losing 0-3? or how about sure miami is a shitty team and NE gets to play them twice.. but somehow they put up 28 points in week 7 against the pats.. the most by ANY team this year. Since the pats have such an easy schedule, maybe miami has an overly tough schedule? Don't be so blind people...

#280 Posted: 12/26/2007 1:33:17 AM get off the patriots person
either the jags or the colts will knock them off in the postseason, and that will be the end of this whole undefeated season crap
the media will look stupid as always for giving them so much press coverage and having the defending super bowl champs live in THEIR shadows doesnt make too much sense does it |

Brady # 13 QB in NFL, huh? Now we all have discredited your opinion. Brady # 1 player in NFL. Never thought that would be the case, but he proved it this year. Plus gets nice tail. 34, as opposed to your lies, I will give you and honest top 5 QB list:
Brady

#295 Posted: 12/30/2007 2:01:25 PM pats already beat the colts once and dont use the excuse oh they were missing their future hall of fame wr.
remember the wr's pats used to defeat the colts in the past. remember hank poteat? ya he was on the secondary that shutdown manning. colts blew it once at home and thus they blew their chances of beating the pats this year.
the pats LB's do look old and slow in domes but come playoff time they look big and fill up those holes quickly. the colts speed will be negated in january if they play new england.
the pats beat all 5-6 teams that will make the playoffs. the 2 teams with the 2nd best record. is that just playtime as well? do the pats get no credit? are you blinded by your hatred?
and if the pats do lose in the playoffs i cant wait to to see the sense of accomplishment in your posts saying that you predicted it would happen all along. you probably thought they would lose to the colts, boys and steelers as well.
passing td record goes to the pats
receving td record goes to the pats
best regular season ever goes to the pats
if they are already a dynasty what comes next? |

If/when Pats win the bowl, this clown will think up some other excuse. He has one clear goal on this forum.
It is funny that folks like him think Marvin is going to give Indy a different outcome and an easy win. What a joker. Nobody leans on all the injuries Pats had in AFC Championship game last year as an excuse, nor will we now that we will be withouth at least Sammie Morris and Rosie Colvin (who in IMO is the best Defensive player on the Pats). Indy backers always have excuses, as # 2 always needs them.
If you're not 1st, you're last !!!
Thank you Houston!!! 1st Half hits. FU Clev, you caused a push. |
