If laws are passed that are strict enough by the US Congress, ( we don't really know the laungage of this bill) then the Attorney General could bring charges against offshore banks, corporations, ect... and charge them in a US court with breaking US laws, I'm guessing maybe racketeering, money laundering, conspiracy, ect... Once convicted and found guilty in a US court either in person or by abstentia, then they can be  listed as wanted criminals by the US government and if captured, brought back to the US to serve justice, if the foreign government agrees to comply or maybe not. This is how the US government legally ( by a US courts standards) sent special operations troops to Panama to capture the former leader of Panama, Manuel Noriega ( who is currently serving time in a prison in the US) because he was convicted by abstentia of breaking US laws. This is how drug dealers in Columbia, terrorists in other countries, ect...are captured.    So, yes, usually the banks, companies, ect... will just comply with US laws and not face criminal prosecution in a US court in person or by abstentia. ( again we don't really know what this law states)

URGENT UPDATE: Sen. Frist has succeeded in his attempt to push through anti-gambling legislation today by attaching the measure to the Port Security bill. NROG has learned the language that was added mirrors that of Sen. Leach's anti-gambling bill, banning the funding to online gambling accounts from all US banks and internet payment companies. The effects on Neteller and other offshore funding sources remains unknown at this time

the reason you are getting lower taxes with the republicans is because they are leaving the bill for your children and grandchildren...Clinton=surplus...GW=deficit.

mws...that's where you are wrong. the democrats would never have initiated this kind of legislation if they were in control...and the only reason it passes (if it does) is because the republicans control the agenda in both the house and the senate.

i don't think this is the bill with the online gaming ban...it's the port security bill...not the secure fence.

Now I will not go to work tomorrow. I will not earn any money. So I will not pay any taxes to the US government tomorrow. I will not by any more lottery tickets ever again, they are a waste of money anyway. I will also boycott all horse racing, and indian casinos. Give a shout, vote Republicans out.
