He hinted that he hurt his neck and also pulled his hamstring walking up a flight of stairs, so it's not just his back and shoulders that need massaging. I might be giving him a second massage pretty soon when my hands are not sore any more. My hands are sore from all the rubbing and squeezing that I had to do from the first massage.
I'm not happy and my buddy's not happy either, so I created this thread to see if this is normal for another guy to give another guy a massage. Even though I'm quite disappointed by the responses, I still respect everyone's opinions.  I'm doing this because he's my best buddy and I'll do just about anything for him. My buddy wanted to return the favor by giving me a massage, but I'm physically healthy, so no massage needed. However, I will think of something else for him to do for me later on. 
My buddy and I also have other friends and we go golfing, bowling, fishing, and drinking together, so we're normal dudes like everybody else. Oh yeah, hope you guys have a great Memorial Day weekend!
