My point exactly. They had to pay juice on pretty much every one of their wins. Sorry if I used the wrong terminology... Factor in the juice and the price you pay for the picks and then tell me if you would rather follow Gamehunter (up 50 units playing mostly dogs) or AJ (up over 100units) all on baseball this year. |

#1909 Posted: 4/24/2009 11:58:42 PM I copied for the last 3 days and doubled down today and went 1-12 with the free hockey pick on the penguins yesterday. I've never lost 12 bets in a week before. I'm in serious trouble now.

Regroup cut ur losses and get back on track slowly.Ive seen guys self destruct chasing.

#1912 Posted: 4/25/2009 12:07:02 AM Congrats to Prez on winning the 50k challenge. Job well done. You earned this, buddy!
That being said, the last three days of this contest really sucked from my perspective. I had the winners right on my radar screen; won for my clients, but couldn't cash here in the challenge.
Thanks to all of you who followed along here in the forums. I hope Prez and I were able to make you some $$ along the way, and I hope you'll keep listening to the radio show throughout the summer and into football season.

#1914 Posted: 4/25/2009 12:15:59 AM I thought the last 3 days would be the best picks of the contest. I wasn't going to even bother tailing again today but lumpiddy said there would be winners today so I tailed and doubled to get my money back. I lost 3 months profit in 3 days

#1915 Posted: 4/25/2009 12:33:11 AM Agree with Robby, Gold and Molsen. Time for the contest to go away. And anyone that thinks that 25k of REAL CASH is going to switch hands is really dense. These guys are friends and business partners and the point was to generate a little buzz for the radio show, which it probably did.
What the touts did was respectable (hittng nearly 60%), so hats off. The one thing I'm sure they didnt predict is that two posters would tail along the whole way and keep up with them every step of the way. So props to 44 and Lumpiddy, as well. Im sure the touts would have preferred to beat the "amateurs" by 10 games or so. So in the end, whatever props someone would give the touts for hitting 60%, it gets lost in the buzz that they barely beat two posters. Toss in the fact that normally you would have to pay for these picks and Lump and 44's picks (or any other free picks) are MUCH MORE valuable to anyone's bankroll. And at 400 per month for the tout picks, you are in the hole 4800 bucks every year. So a $100 dollar player is down 48 units just to start. Ugh. Gimme the respected posters in any of the forums for my picks.

#1919 Posted: 4/25/2009 1:25:06 AM wtg prez. i thought teddy would get you from day 1, but you proved me wrong.
re: ditter: go darn yourself man. why even bother posting that garbage, and just go and do your thing, why do you care bout the people in here if you are such a person!!!! and by the way, you can get a yearly package from any expert for 800 or so. maybe 1200 i dont know. and if you're betting max 100 a game maybe you shouldnt buy picks or give a garbage why people buy picks???? go on back to doin what you're doing and quit being such a negative person while you're at it why don't ya!!!
I bet teddy made way more than 25k selling his picks, and betting his picks, over his huge steamroll run he's on, so he prob doesnt give a garbage if you think he lost 25k for real or not. plus he gets a new laptop wooo hooo!!!
My internet went out earlier, my pod was KC RL (-130). Sorry i didn't post it for you guys in time. haters like ditter might say i'm lyin but why would i? i wasnt in any contest or anything for real money, i would've gone somewhere if it was real important. but anyway.
who's going to start the new thread?
here's to all the reg's that made a boatload of cash during all this

You are an idiot... if you listened to the radio show..Prez and Teddy wished Lump and 44 good luck the whole way through and hoped that they made money for everyone also. You are just a bitter old piece of garbage who always has to find something negative about anything. prez is right,,,you ppl must have small penises to be so fuckin bitter all the time. these two handicappers made anyone who followed them lots of cash..for free.. so why dont you just take it as it is.. a fun contest and go measure ur person again so u can go cry about somethign else.

#1921 Posted: 4/25/2009 7:34:15 AM 1st off, thanks for all the excitment in this 50K tourney. I was never involved in sports gambling much until I came in Covers and this shed a "new light" in the way I wager. Mostly great people I have met through this tourney and site. Others, you know who you are, can continue being negative and bash all you like. It doesn't harm me and hope not others. It just reflects the type of person you are. I hope everyone can help one another in here. Of course, we are individuals that have different aspects of life and have our own personal opinions. That what I love about freedom of speech. You voice your opinion and others will chime in and hopefully to help. In the end of the day though is this really important? To me, family first. Wagering brings out the excitement and adrenaline that guys enjoy. Love being JACKED!!!! Hope to se most of you guys on the next thread. Prez/Ted, let us know the next Poker Tournament. Good luck with the show. Will be listening frequently. Prez, congrats on the 50K |

#1923 Posted: 4/25/2009 10:41:54 AM Congratulations to Prez. Job well done. Your strategy from last week really pays off. Teddy, congratulation to you also. You did well too. Hind sight, you should have taken the offer from Prez on Monday to call off the contest and called it a tie. I know it is difficult to do especially you were up one game and you were blazing hot with your pick.
Also congratulation to 44-Dimes and Lump...you guys were right there with your pick. Thanks again for the bank roll, I was right with you guys making lots of money. To be very honest, I would have given up the contest earlier on if it not for you two playing along with Prez and Teddy.
And finally to my other friends, Jett, Cappernow, Odds, Gimme, etc (except the basher and hater), let me salute you with this |
