The swiss can afford it since they have both Nazi and Jewish wealth that they refuse to repatriate to their rightful owners as well as fatcat hidden bqnk accounts etc. They also represent less than 3% of our population. Tiny country.

So your hamburger will go up a few pennies, But CEO's salaries for doing nothing will come way down. Think about it, you win because you're in the middle class ! Duh !

Good, nobody should be eating that crap anyways....
Off topic.... cano, I need to know something and since you're from the area you may be able to help... What's the difference between crawdads, crawfish and crayfish?? Are they all the same? People call them all 3 up here and I assume it just depends on where you're from.
Crawfish, Crawdads, and Crayfish are all the same
Most people in Louisiana, over 90% I would guess, refer to them as Crawfish. If we have some alcohol in our system we may refer to them as Crawdads. The only people who refer to them as Crayfish are Damn Yankees, northerners, not the music group.

Kiosks have been used many times over the years and they do not work period.
It slows speed of service, customers do not like it, they are not efficient and their up front cost is very large..
No way will kiosks work on a large scale.
Generational difference wall. My generation prefers to punch a few keys rather than talk to some dumb A-hole with an attitude and an entitlement complex.
I find no value in speaking to a person as opposed to punching the keys myself. Do you have a meaningful interaction with the person that punches the keys and takes your money? No, you don't, not at all.
If it saves me .01 cent on my burger, I would much rather just push the screen and feed my money to the machine. Even if it doesn't result in any savings, I would still rather just do it myself, sometimes speaking to these people is the most frustrating part of the dining experience.

Given how you come across in this post, I imagine most people would rather you punch a few keys than talk to them as well.

Your and my interest in doing it ourselves is not the point..of course people like self serve, I do every time I go to the grocery store. The point is speed of service, cost and efficiency. Automated food production is not efficient, it is difficult to maintain, it has a high up front cost and it lacks what people can do..mainly the ability to modify on the fly, to make changes and handle that.
What if a customer wants to modify their purchase (which happens all the time, constantly) how do you send that information to the production line? Who with a kiosk format delivers the info and how does that effect the production line?
FF companies have tried automation many times..it just does not make financial sense..the waste level is higher, the production time is slower..
Running a FF place is fluid, especially if you have a drive thru system..which most do. I do not see how it will ever be possible to automate FF service.

BWS77. As you can see by the posts above, the truth comes out of the right wing voters. They would rather pay a migrant worker a nickel an hour as long as they pocket more and more.
Not realizing that a Big Mac was .75 cents when Ronald Robber Reagan was elected. It is now 3.75....or more, a 5 fold increase, along with everything else. But the minimum wage only doubled, approx.
They just don't get it, someday they will. As you know, they are slow catching on. Like Faux, Karl Rove on election night.

Since Switzerland is relatively rich, perhaps minimum wage as 75% of median wage might be affordable. Disadvantage is unfairly burdening low wage employers who would need to reduce costs or raise prices.
A better way to help the poor is "guaranteed minimum income" paid by governments so that financial burden is widely shared. This solution may be necessary in a distant future if machines become so advanced that they can replace humans in most jobs to create 50% unemployment rate.

I saw a segment on the news… where it stated that if walmart raised it minimum wage by 5 bucks and that if walmart wanted to pass that cost to the consumer… it would only raise the price by a little over 1 percent…
I would like to see a minimum wage of 20 bucks an hour for 4 years to see what would happen in those 4 years... would it truly be the end of the world as we know it (according to republicans) or would american society flourish?
