Rick, said it best. Its our fault. The citizens of this country keep electing the same idiots over and over again, because they seem to be afraid to pull the handle for the new person.
Since the citizens of our country are to dumb to vote these career politicians all the across the country at every level of govt nothing will ever change.
Greatest thing that could ever happen to our country, but never will, is term limits. But then again, even with term limits the politicians will find ways to get around that, just look at Bloomberg and how he got around the term limit thing in NY City
Being a politician was never created by our Founding Fathers to be a career. You were supposed to come do the work for the people for a few years, then go back to your regular jobs. Amazing how bad they have corruputed the system.
