Regarding the NY bill, Kid Rock may need to get clued in to some facts.
- Bill A06856A introduced by 3 Democrats
- Passed 137-2 in the NY assembly (Dominated by Dems in a large majority)
- Signed by Cuomo (Democrat) in 2011
How again is this the Republican's fault?

Ticketmaster is one of the worst corporations in America. In fact they are ranked in the top 10 worst companies to work for.
Ticketmaster is a slimy company. They pull a huge portion of the best seats at an event and then sell the tickets on their secondary markets[WHICH THEY OWN AND ARE ASSOCIATED WITH} for huge prices. This gives the regualr joe a very slim chance of getting good seats to see their favorite artists, unless they want to pay prices that are out of this world.
Besides ticketmaster pulling the best seats, the regular joe has to compete with the armies of ticket brokers who buy up all the good seats and they in turn do the same thing as ticketmaster.
This pretty much kills the average fan of scoring good seats.
Trust me, this isnt my opinion about whats happening, its fact.
I would love to see all the artists come together and create their own market and sell all the tickets for shows{not just their fanclub seats}, and put those ticketmaster dirtbags out of business.
Would also love to see laws passed stopping the ticket brokers from marking up tickets say more then 25-50 on each ticket.
In the old days, if you wanted the best tickets, you waited outside in line waiting for the tickets to go on sale. First in line got the best tickets for the regular price. People didnt have to compete with a dirty ticket seller or ticket broker.
These things will never happen thou, because even the bands themselves are funneling tickets to the brokers.
Just go to any ticket broker website and look up any artist and you will see they have the majority of best tickets. Thats not happening by accident.
And lastly screw you ticketmaster

No, I'm able to grasp what he was saying, it's just that he's wrong. Sure these laws adversely hurt his career but him spewing his untruths about who passed these laws is the issue I have with this. He flat out said it's Republicans passing these laws and he's embarrased to be a Rep. He is flat out wrong on this. The Republicans are nowhere near in power or have any say so in what passes in NY. Even if all the republicans there voted against it, it wouldn't have mattered.
It would be fair if he said they didn't try and stop it, but he didn't, he said the Republicans are passing these laws and he has no facts to back that up.
I have no problem with Republicans criticizing other Republicans if it's true and based in fact unlike the crap the Kid Rock is saying. If he wants to say Bush stabbed every fiscal conservative in the back, right on. If he wants to rip to shreds Ryans budget, fine, plenty of legitimate things to point out.
Don't give me this crap that Kid Rock's statement is some deep thinking diatribe on our Freedoms and having independent thought. He's another in the long line of celebrities that run off at the mouth without knowing what they are talking about. In this case, who to blame for the ticketless paper law in NY.

Fair enough, I agree.
I do agree with Kid Rock and others on this post about Ticketmaster. I also applaud Rock for wanting to keep ticket prices low so the average stiff gets a chance to see him perform.
