Why it is almost as if this woman goes around having to pretend she is a victim or something.

First lady Michelle Obama mistakenly called herself a "busy single mother" in an interview on Thursday with Burlington, Vt. CBS affiliate WCAX, before quickly catching herself and identifying instead as "busy working mom."

At the last stop of his California fundraising swing Thursday, Obama couldn’t help but take notice of California Attorney General Kamala Harris — and not just for her legislative work.

“She’s brilliant and she’s dedicated, she’s tough,” Obama said according to a pool report of the event. “She also happens to be, by far, the best looking attorney general …. It’s true! C’mon.”

I'm sure he meant to pay her a compliment... but quite frankly, it just divides women and it just divides people up to separate them by looks and probably was a little hand-fisted. I just think the whole thing, the whole dynamic about women and their looks puts women under a lot of stress that they don't need. and they should be sort of talked about by their qualities at work, especially when he is introducing someone because she is the attorney general. I actually think, you know, he meant to do -- say something nice. I think he made a mistake.

This is what I predict will happen in the next few years...

Barack will leave Michelle for another man (shout out to Kroger) making her a single mother

Michelle runs for President and wins in 2016 (see my thread from a few days ago)

The NFL will change to two-hand touch.

She seemed to catch her flub almost immediately. "You know, when you've got the husband who's president, it can feel a little single, but he's there," she clarified of her husband, President Barack Obama.

"And as a busy working mom, and before coming to the White House, I was in that position as well - working, driving kids to practice, not having enough time to shop or cook, not having the energy," she added.

I wouldnt vote for her for president...

But it is a good thing that she caught her statement and corrected herself immediately or argued a lie/mistake that she was rather then doing the right thing and correcting herself...  

If not she would have really looked stupid...

Almost as stupid as acting like she didnt correct herself and arguing a Lie as if she did not correct herself...

Seems like the Alias crew is really getting desperate here trying to grasp around anything to start up the "circle jerk"...With this and bowslit melting down, it really gotten sad how bad it has gotten since these partisan hacks lost the turf war to the independents...

This has been a huge strategic blunder for the GOP/teaparty... rather then simply talking issues and holding obama accountable for his record in office, they use these desperate wacko conspiracies and fabrications that only their most devoted extremists would even consider taking seriously...

then struggle to understand why they coundnt grasp the hispanic, woman, moderate and independent voters to beat obama...

Interesting Darryl that you would feel compelled to defend Michelle on this even though I feel that you're correct and it was merely a flub. A funny flub, but a flub nonetheless.

I also find it interesting that your obsession with me lately is unblemished. You have hypocritically formed an interesting alliance.

This quote reminds me of the flub you made recently and I'm going to paraphrase because I don't wish to go into detail.

Our foreign budget starts and ends with Israel......

The US provides over 3 billion dollars a year to Israel, most of which is in the form of grants...

That's one-sixth of our foreign budget! and 2% of Israel's GDP......
