Does this guy have a chance

He was just on the cover of Time. Good article. Interesting guy. Extremely popular in a blue state.

His recent actions have made people forget that he is pretty socially conservative.

I wonder how much he can moderate that. If he can, at least, sell that he is a social moderate, he would be dangerous in 2016. HRC is on top now but the cyclical nature of things leads me to believe that the nation may want a Republican in 2016.

First of all, you forgot to highlight the word "appear". Secondly, take your own advice.

Admittedly, I am not good at all in cut-n-paste jobs but really? The Republican lost the last election because:

1.  Mitt wasn't conservative enough.

2. The Party did such a great job embracing all groups, particularly wowen, minorities and the young ones.

3. People voted for Obama because they ALL wanted free handouts.

On point #3, I can't be real sure because I didn't vote for him. To take a step further, I had never voted for a Democrat for POTUS. So maybe that makes me a liberal.

That's the problem I see. To me, the Republicans didn't do it good job but it's not a condemnation on all who voted for them. I simply just don't like the direction they are going. On the other hand, you seem to take it personally as if I was attacking you.

I don't disagree with you but unfortunately, that's not how the Republican Party is peceived and they can't just blame it on the 'liberal" media.

Actually, I don't have a problem with the answer canovsp provided although he didn't specify in the cases of rape, incest or the mothers' health.
