The Final 2012 Presidential Gallup Poll Was Wrong...

...and so was I!  It has been a depressing few weeks since the election, and frankly I can't believe the US re-elected this incompetent idiot.

Anyway, I thought that Romney had momentum that was heard but not seen. In fact, President Obama got the D ground game going and closed the deal.

The swing state polls showing a tie were a bit off as Obama's margins in VA, Colorado, NV, and Iowa were higher than expected. Obama's performance in Colorado particularly shocked me.

It is tough to see slow Joe and Obama get another 4 years, but I can only hope for the best when the next recession hits.

Oh, and I would add that since Obama got 6+ million fewer votes, I thought that would mean he would lose.

Admittedly I thought he would get about 10 million fewer votes...

How can POLLS claim a "margin of error" of plus or minus 3 percent when they differ with other polls by 4 percent or more?

That "margin of error" is complete BS.

And 14 road, good to have you back.  I got a request:  Can you do a thread on a Republican scandal JUST ONCE, that would make all of your rants more believable.

I certainly haven't taken it easy on Obama and I'm a liberal.

OK, I'll get the ball rolling:  Obama, you want bipartianship this term, then can the Susan Rice nomination.  Why?  While you don't agree with Republican complaints about her, isn't getting things done more important?  And the opposition to her is very strong.  Furthermore, by nominating somebody else, it might make this issue go away a lot faster.

I personally see her as just a talking head and surely not the best person for such a sensative job.  Give the Republicans what they want on this one, we will all benefit in the long run.
