Thats the difference between you and I. I don't blame the brewers or the tattoo parlor or the cell phone company.

I blame the guy who lacks the ability to prioritize correctly.

I've heard George Foremans story of how his sibblings would share a bite of one hamburger and that was his meal for the day.

Ive also heard the story about my boss 30 years ago who worked from 5 in the morning until 3 in the afternoon at a grocery store and then spent his evenings selling insurance until 11pm 5-6 days a week. Now he is very much a millionaire and he has one of the largest agency's in the state. His wife tells the story of how hard the struggle was for them in the beginning when they didn't know how they would pay their bills.

I'm a firm believer that hard work pays off.

Bowlslit, dont go around saying you want the loopholes closed for the rich, because that never comes out of your right wing mouth. You are constantly defending guys like romney and the rich for using loopholes that get them out of paying taxes. You should be starting threads talking about how angry you are at the rich for using all these slick loopholes created just for them, while you are paying your fair share in taxes. Guys like you will complain about the poor guy getting free food stamps, but not the rich guy who cheated the system and caused you to pay more taxes. Really keep blowing the rich fatcats  Your mouth is covered in drool.

also you are a complete phony and fraud with your stories you always post about people you know. Everytime you need to back up your agenda, you come up with some bullshit story about people you knowto fit your arguement.  Grow up

It is investment income that has a tax rate of 15%.  Also, known as the capital gains tax.

Why do people not understand this.

Obama wants to raise capital gains tax that will create huge problems with seniors that live off of investment income.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Exactly!

Some of these people are just too lazy to find out the truth themselves and so they just believe all the lies the obama lie machine spew out to them. He can't run on his record and so he has to make Mr. Romney look like a villain.

But let's look a the real villain mr obama.

mr obama's policies are sticking it to American Workers.

mr obama says his economic plan had worked. He says the private sector is doing fine.

But middle-class America isn't doing fine, and many who voted for obama in the last election are now worrying.

We're not working...

43 straight months of unemployment over 8%

23 million Americans unemployed, underemployed or have given up looking for work.

Over half of college graduated can't fin a job to match their skills.

We're losing jobs by the thousands...

261,000 jobs lost since obama took office

We're relying on government more and more...

Nearly half of all households receive some form of federal assistance.

Romney and Ryan in 012!

Hey drake where are all those jobs we are losing?  are they just vanishing or are those jobs being sent overseas to use slave labor.

Please tell us all how romney will get companies to pay workers in our country, when they can pay people in other countries a few dollars a day to make their products? Really how is mittens gonna accomplish that?  Are you suggesting our workers should work for the same type of wages workers in other countries work for?  Are you willing to work for those type of wages at your job?

Really when you post, why dont you post something we dont already know.  Of course the country is losing jobs, but its not Obamas fault for companies wanting to use slave labor to make their products. Last time i checked Obama didnt own all the companies that were cutting jobs.

Maybe if just once one of you right wingers would stop watching fox news and the bullshit they are feeding you from the fatcats, you might actually be able to see the truth about why the country is losing jobs. My God man, the answers are right in front of you, if you would just take your blinders off and stop jerking off the fatcats on a daily basis

chili

you're preaching to the choir. I agree with the rate Romney paid. I don't want him to be taxed twice on the same dollar.

CD you are sounding exactly like a broken record. Please throw some energy at freshening things up a bit.

Ya, we get that you hate corporations and think that is the only problem our nation faces at this time. Do you have to say the same things in 90% of your posts?

The insurance rates people pay in our country for all types of insurance is a direct result of insurance companies having to pay guys like bowlslit big salaries to sit on their fools all day, surfing the internet.

Time to replace all these useless agents with call centers

I am not pissed at him / them for paying low taxes. I am annoyed at him for standing up and having the nerve to criticize the "47%" when Mitt is doing all he can do to work the system as well. Many people do the same thing. The difference is that they do not stand on their high horse and point fingers.

And please do not bring up that he already paid millions. It is the % and not the absolute $ that matters.

Hey mojo, you must have a low IQ or just love  rich people

Because any normal person with even a half a brain should be pissed off at the fatcats who are cheating the system, thus causing the average guy to pay more in taxes because of that.

I guess i will never understand why a guy like you wants to pay more while the fatcat gets away paying nothing.

Like i said before am not jealous of rich people one bit, if they pay their fair share and dont cause the rest of us to have to pick up the slack and pay for them, i have no problem with them.

Mindless guys like you cant seem to grasp that and would rather keep paying more of your money, while the fatcats laugh all the way to the bank vault

Sometimes thou i actullay stop and say to myself, can these right wingers on covers really be that dumb or do they just create posts to stir the pot

Good post Matt

only a hypocrite like romney would bash those 47 percent, while cheating the country out of its money every chance he gets

Really does this get your rocks off or something, because i truly dont understand why you arent angry about this.  Pretty messed up.

CD, I am all for fairness. If I had control I'd get rid of every deduction and install a flat tax. Loved the Herman Cain idea of 888 or 999 or whatever with a single income tax rate, business tax, and national sales tax. Everyone pays the same tax. Can't get fairer than that.

However I do understand that it will NEVER happen. You realize both sides get contributions from your hated "fatcats" right? Then favors are owed, loopholes are created, etc

It's the game. Money in politics is the game. McCain and Russ Feingold thought they fixed campaign finance issues and after all their work look: now candidates can go off books and get 10xs what they got before from special interests. "Fix" it again and there will be a new way. I don't like it but it's not changing EVER. Money makes the world go round. So as that quote goes don't "hate the player hate the game". I aspire to be rich so I can call the shots because changing the system is like trying to empty the ocean with a teacup. Would I like change to happen? Absolutely! Do I think it will? Not at all.

I just want leaders who are responsible and actually address issues (rich vs. poor isn't one for me)  and don't leave my kids with a nation in a worse state than we are in now. Do I have hope either of these guys will do what needs to be done? Absolutely not.

Christ, I worked on the Hill for several years as an LA until I got sick of the Bullshit. Guess what? The jokes on the right wingers and the left wingers cause the only thing politicians really listen to is $$$!! Every decision is not made about helping the constituents it's about how will this affect re-election contributions?
So hate the rich, hate the poor, hate whoever you want just know your hate is pointless the only thing that matters is $ to any of the politicians you idolize so yes, the people with the $ have the power so be try to be one or your opinion is irrelevant.

Please show me the posts where i said only republicans created the loopholes for the fatcats.

The truth is both parties are 100 percent at fault for creating all these loopholes that allow the rich to cheat the country. The fatcats have ever politician in their pocket.

Maybe you have missed my posts before, its the fatcats and corporations that control our govt and every aspect of the economy. Politicians are just paid employees of these people.

Thats why i get a big laugh when i see people blaming Obama or any President for job losses in the country.  Its a total farce, Presidents dont control job losses, corporations do
